Briella's POV

It's amazing how things can change in such a small amount of time. In a matter of weeks, Luke and I went from being ridiculously happy and in love; to not even being apart of each other's lives. Two weeks after the break up; which happened because the girl, Arzaylea messaged him, acting like they'd been hooking up the entire time he was in LA, before him and Ashton came to Melbourne, I finally gave in a flew to Sydney, to tell Luke; what was going on. Lex was right when I called her a couple of weeks ago, Luke had a right to know. It is his child, after all; and I wouldn't be able to hide it from the media for much longer. I was getting close to three months pregnant at this time.
Needless to say I was shocked at what I saw; when I got to Luke's family home.

Lex had told me that Luke's family had gone away, for a long weekend, and left him at home. I thought this would be a good thing, so we could work things out before we told his family. I knocked on the door, expecting to be welcomed with open arms; but that wasn't the case. It was ten am on a Monday morning and I was greeted by a shirtless Luke, looking worse for ware. He was holding a beer in his hand, "Elle?" I remember him saying, "what are you doing here?" He was slurring his words
"We need to talk, but now doesn't seem to be a good time," this wasn't the conversation you could have with someone who was drunk. The next thing I heard, is what completely shocked me, and broke my heart
"Luke baby, where are you? Whose at the door?"
"You have to be fucking kidding me!" I screamed
"Elle," he said, "it's not..."
"It's not what, Luke? Not what it looks like?"
"Let me explain," he said, he looked miserable
"No I think, I made the right decision," I told him, the tears were starting to fall
"Elle, please," he was begging, and tears were threatening to spill from his blue eyes
"No," I choked out
"Please don't do this,"
"You've made your choice, it hasn't even been a month, Luke," I was a mess, "go back to your slut, I'm done, I can't believe I was actually going to give you another chance,"
"Elle..." He said as I turned around
"What?" I spat
"I love you,"
"You have a fucking funny way of showing it," I told him.

I remember picking up my bag, and walking away. Walking away from the father of my unborn child. I got to the end of the street, and placed my bag down again, I sat down, and called the one person I knew, who would help me, Lex.

Her and Ashton, came and picked me up. I remember getting in the car, and breaking down immediately. Telling them everything that happened. Ash got out of the car, and walked to Luke's. I wasn't sure what he was going to do, whether or not he was going to tell him I was pregnant. I knew that if I was going to keep the baby, that Luke Hemmings was not going to have any part in its life. He didn't deserve it. There was no way, I was going to have my child grow up with a father figure, who thought it was perfectly fine to be pissed drunk at ten o'clock in the morning.

For the next two months after that; Luke tried to call and message me. I wondered if Ashton told him; but I found out from Lex that he didn't. Those calls stopped in March. I moved to Brisbane, to be with Rachael, who promised to help me in anyway that she could.

July 2017

In June of 2016, I gave birth to my daughter Stella Elizabeth Hemmings. She was now a year old, and we'd moved to Sydney, so I could compete on the X-Factor. I remember my audition like it was yesterday. I remember going on stage in front of the judges, Dannii Minogue, Guy Sebastian, Ronan Keating and James Blunt. Ronan and Dannii recognised me immediately, although; everyone else seemed to have forgotten me. Tonight was the night my audition was being televised. I was currently, in a shopping centre with Lex, who was taking time off, from what she was doing. We were having coffee at a small cafe, when we ran into a familiar face. Liz Hemmings. We were sitting down, my daughter Stella, on my lap. I hadn't told Liz about Stella, I knew she would force me to tell Luke; only a few people knew who Stella's father was: Lex, Ashton, Rachael and my cousin Scarlett. I still hadn't spoken to my parents since the events in America. They wanted nothing to do with me. They probably didn't even know they were grandparents. Not that they'd care.
