"Did you see that shooting star tonight?
Were you dazzled by the same constellation?
Did you and Jupiter conspire to get me?
I think you and the Moon and Neptune got it right,
'Cause now I'm shining bright, so bright."
~Bright, Ecosmith.

"WHERE ARE WE going?", I croon for the millionth time.
"Just walk", Edward replies.
Now I'm starting to realize how bad of an idea this was. I shouldn't have agreed to come with him. I'd been walking for what felt like eternity without a particular destination to reach, without a particular aim to achieve.
I suppress the urge to run back to my tent because it seems pointless now. We've already come too far, and there's nowhere to go. Exhaustion spreads through my body and I drag myself to keep up with his speed. I open my phone to call Abin but there are no signals. Of course. What could I expect? It's 3 in the morning and I'm still walking.
"Edward, I died", I say, panting. "Write me a eulogy please."
Edward glances at the map clutched in his hand and continues to walk.
"Just a few miles north and we'll reach the nearest peak. Wouldn't take more than an hour", he says, flashing the torch to the north.
Holy freaking cow. One hour?
"Don't forget to place French Fries on my coffin", I mutter, walking behind him.
He laughs and focuses his attention back on the map again.
I wasn't expecting grizzly bears or anything, but I definitely wasn't expecting this quiet, normal atmosphere either.
As far as my eyesight can stretch, there's only snow. The mountain isn't too steep, for which I should seriously be thankful but I'm too drained to feel anything.
And then I fall. Like really fall. I fall down on my knees and Edward turns around.
"Are you okay?" he says, walking toward me.
