Author's Notes
I'd like to thank each of you for having read, voted and commented on my book.
Nothing would have ever been possible without you guys. We got into the top #5 with 23k+ reads, and maybe it's nothing compared to the other books out here but it means so much to me. I mean this book got ranked #5? This is so crazy.
Also, I'm not focusing on this type of writing. When I'd first started writing this book, my vocabulary was massively limited. Plus, I was really new to all the writing business, considering this is my very first completed book. I'd written a book earlier, which I had to delete midway because it was horribly cringe worthy and enormously clichéd.
So, my other books - the ones I plan to start soon, will be much, much better than this. I write for an escape, and I'm extremely thankful for the immense support I've been receiving from you all.
And thanks a ton for getting me to 500+ followers. This is great, and I really appreciate it.
So as for my future projects, I've posted the blurb + first chapter of Rejuvenate. Feel free to read and let me know what you think.
I've also posted the blurb for Ivy's Knight, which I'm planning to write in third person and past tense, and even though it's going to be hard, I'm pumped for it nonetheless. I might start writing it by March.
Do follow me for updates (: And thanks so much for getting this book this far. I never could have imagined a small book like mine making into the top #5.
I've been told that I write good romantic scenes xD So here's a fact. I've never fallen in love, nor do I intend to. The only people I've ever truly loved are my parents and a few of my friends (and ofc my readers *wink wink*)
And yes, Afire Love is over. But no, I won't be writing any sequel. Some stories are just meant to end :/ But there is however, a spin off titled 'Rejuvenate' which I just mentioned above. Remember Becca and Joel from Afire Love? It's their story. It's written in first person and past tense, once again a different style from this book. I'm just trying out different styles to improve as a writer on the whole. I hope you stick with me.
That said, I'm very grateful to you all for having taken your time and read my book. I'm glad that you didn't judge this at the very beginning, when my writing was poor.
On a final note, if you have any questions regarding this book, or any other book of mine, or if you'd like to generally talk to me, shoot me a question on my ask. I'd posted the link to it on my profile (:
I love you all to the moon and back. Stay happy. I hope you enjoyed reading my book.
love always,
mahi.
