Chapter 4: Stupid football

(Harry's POV)

I decided to leave the phone there I mean nobody is going to take it as its in my locker. I continued to walk home. When I got there the smell of dinner drilled through my nose. I love my mom's cooking not just me but Niall,Jessie and mostly Teddy loves it as Amy make some of the worst food in THE WORLD. Poor Duncan's!

After dinner I went to my room with a plate of whatever was left. You'd be wondering why does he want another plate of food well it's not for m....

"Knock knock let me in before I fall" an all too familiar voice said. I placed the food on the dresser and opens the window to the person I was expecting Teddy.

"You know we have a working door and a bell why do you always choose the hard way?."I asked her .

There is no fun in coming through the door and I don't want your mom telling mine that I come here everyday for dinner she will literally die. After all i'am her her good kid" she said with a chuckle. I handed her the plate full of food and she ate it like Niall at Nando's.

After she was done we started talking about everyday things. Suddenly Jade crosses my mind. "Hey what do you think Jade is doing now I would have called her but I left my phone at school so I can't I am dying to talk to her. She is the best thing that has ever happened to me don't you think I mean I could have got a girl who didn't like you guys and then that would have been so hard right?" I asked her.

(Teddy's ' POV)

When those words left his mouth I just felt like throwing something at his head and knock some sense into him. I felt like screaming SHE IS A WORTHLESS, LYING BACK STABBING ,GOOD FOR NOTHING BI... take deep breaths Teddy calm down.

"Yeah she's great" i gave him a half hearted answer.

"Hey what's wrong do you not like her?."

"What's the point in my opinion if you're happy with her then I'm happy anyway gtg see ya tomorrow good night Hazza" I said giving him a quick hug and jumped out the window it wasn't too far from the ground. "Hey thanks for the food again good night "I said while landing on the ground and started running for home.

Next day at school

(Harry's POV)

I walked around everywhere looking for Jade and I finally found her by her usual group.

"Hey Jade come here for a minute I wanna ask you something" I said pulling her to the side.

"Hey how would you like to come to the game as my date to encourage me?" I asked her with full hope.

"Honey boo I'd love to but first answer me why did you not answer my text yesterday I told you I'd call but you didn't answer and I am guessing you were with HER again right?" Jade asked me.

"Ok first of all I forgot my phone in the gym locker yesterday and secondly who is this HER you're on about?" I asked her clearly irritated.

"You know who I am talking about your ever so precious Teddy"

"So, she is my best friend so i'am bound to spend time with her I spend time with Niall and Jessie so what's the big deal in hanging out with Teddy'

"Are you seriously fighting with me for her huh I am so done with you Harry go to your little girlfriend" with that she started to walk away but I pulled her back.

"Jade i'am sorry please just forget about all this please be my date for the game".

"Ok only coz you asked me so nicely i'll come but she has to stay away from me and you is that a prob?" She asked

What I have to go to the biggest game of the year without Teddy. She has been there beside me for my every game but I can't disappoint Jade.

"Ok deal so i'll see you tonight"

"Thanks Honey boo for asking me and love you" she said kissing my cheek.

I watched her walk away and I turned around to be meet with two pairs of blue eyes and one brown. They where filled with disappointment. I opened my mouth to say something but they just walked away. In the rush of making Jade happy I made the three most important people in my life angry.

(Naill's POV )

"I can't believe Harry actually agreed to that" I said still not able to believe it.

"I really don't care about Harry and his...his stupid girlfriend. I mean if he rather have her over us then let him be I have you two and you two have me and when that "girlfriend" of his breaks his heart he'll come crawling back two us" Teddy said with clear anger.

I love Harry but what he is doing is wrong we are his best friends and he rather listen to someone who showed up yesterday over us. Teddy told us what Jade said the other day and even if we all told him that Jade is going to turn it around and make us the bad guys. We didn't talk anymore about it and went to class.

Usually Harry sits beside Teddy and us but today as soon as he came into class Jade pulled him to sit with her and Teddy was left on her own. If Jessie wasn't in this class I would have sat beside Teddy.

"Hey Niall you know there's a football game today and everybody's bringing a date do you wanna go as my date?" Jessie asked innocently.

"Of course i'll be your date were you planning to take someone else?" I asked her with fake anger on my face.

"Of course not you're playing anyway so i'll be there to cheer you on anyway....." She started staring at something so I followed her her gaze and saw something that surprised me.

Teddy wasn't on her own anymore no Harry wasn't sitting with her it was The Zayn Malik sitting beside her.

Teddy's POV

I can't believe he actually went and sat with her and left me here all alone. I just hate that stupid Jade. I didn't realise Harry's former seat was taken so I turned to see who it was and god was I in for a shock it was ZAYN THE POPULAR HOT GUY MALIK.

"Hi" "Hi" that's all what we said to each other for the first twenty minutes. I decided to break the silence.

"Hey if you don't mind me asking why is The Great Zayn Malik sitting here with a random girl rather than with his friend?"

"I am not The Great Zayn Malik I am just Zayn Malik and I saw you sitting on your own and thought i'll give you company and you're no random girl we're in like half maybe even more classes together Teddy" he said with a chuckle.

Zayn is popular but not Jade type popular she is like those typical Tv meanie but I've heard Zayn is a very nice popular guy and now I believe it. We spend the rest of the class talking and laughing and earning a few stares from the teacher.

The bell went and as I was packing my bag Zayn asked me something that surprised me.

"Teddy......erm....you know the way.....there is a game today do you....maybe....wanna go....with me". He asked me being all irresistible. All I could do was stare at him.

"Forget I ever asked you this I should have known you would go with Harry as usual anyway it was nice talking to you" he was about to walk away with a sad face when I pulled on his free hand "wait you didn't wait for my answer I would love to come with you and cheer you on" when those words left my mouth I saw a smile spread across his face. "Well I guess i'll see you tonight then" he said almost shyly and walked off.

I started packing that's when Niall and Jessie came over to me with a big smile on their faces. "What?"

"What do you mean what. What was going on with you and Zayn?" Jessie asked wiggling her eyebrow.

"Oh Zayn just asked me to be his date to the game today no biggy"

"No biggy? Look at you it looks like your face is gonna fall off from smiling so much" when Niall said that I realised how much I was smiling.

"Get lost Niall"I said playfully hitting Niall on his arm and we went off to our next class.
