Chapter 7

I was at a loss of words for most of the day. Much was going through my mind, yet I sat still. Mercy was right there in my arms, yet I made no move. I made none perhaps my thoughts were on Blume. She seemed as if she was okay with all of this when she left this morning. I know her better than that. She will smile to the world and cry in her own. I imagine that she will not return tonight. I worry for her as much as she worries for me. Where will she go? What shall she do tonight as I lay with my bride for the first time? Will she return come morning? Aye, she will come back to us. It is my strong sister after all. I know she be not the one to be beaten at anything. No matter what it might be she always wins.

"You are distracted again my dear. What consumes your mind so?" Mercy kisses my cheek. I smile at her then kiss her lips. I smile to myself then pull her firmly into my lap. I loosen my grip just to make sure that I do not harm her.
"You of course my love. How can anything else consume me so? I am... anticipating our night together is all." She smiles then begins to kiss my neck. My breath catches within my throat. I love the way she makes me feel. She looks back up at me then rest her body against mine.

"Aye, so do I. I long to feel you against me. Why do we wait? The sun will set soon. We can begin now." I smile at her then kiss her again.

"You say aye then?" All senses in my body craved this. I craved the control I felt the other night with Blume. I can feel my body shouting for more. I will not argue with my vampire longings this time. My lips find Mercy's warming skin.

"Aye. . . I wish to take my wife at last..." My hands begin to pull away the clothing trapping her body.

"Mercy." I groan her name, "I need your body." She moans into my ear. She pulls my face up and smashes her lips against mine. Her kiss was hungry yet loving. I could not help but to indulge her kiss. Her warmth, her scent, the sound of her heart rising is all so enticing to me. As her heart began to pound louder I began to loose myself. All I wished to do was make her heart beat louder as I take her to a place of high pleasure that we hath both never felt before.
Before I knew what my body did I laid Mercy under me. Her beautiful green eyes gazed up at me as I took off her dress. This be the first time I have seen her exposed. I was amazed by her body. Mercy sits up and starts to take off my dress. I allow her to do so. Once it was removed she kisses me gently. I hold her in my arms as I lay her down again. Her breathing becomes ragged as mine does. It is a whole different feeling being naked on her as such.

"Jamie." She breathes out. I smile at her and kiss her head gently.

"If I hurt you let me know and shall stop." She nods then I begin to kiss her some more. To relax her I rub her body gently to assure her that I will be as gentle as possible. As her hands go around my neck my hand goes down between her legs. As she feels my hand rubbing her sensitivity her body begins to react. I know I must be careful when I get to her maidenhead. I know it hurt Blume, so now that I know better I shall be gentle. I kiss Mercy before slowly entering her. She squirms then relaxes in my embrace. She pants as she feels me fully inside of her. I look down into her eyes and kiss her again. Slowly moving within her I find her maidenhood. She becomes tense as I apply pressure to it. Her whimpering makes my own mind become blurred. This however is not the time for it.

Making sure that she is unharmed is my top priority. I know I have the power to break her maidenhood by just applying this much pressure to it, but as gently as possible. As I put more pressure on it her moans become louder. Her breath is constricted in her throat. A cry of pleasure is begging to be released. Soon the maidenhead is broken through. Mercy's nails score my shoulders yet it was not enough to break the skin. I begin to move in her slowly. Her moans are making me go insane. Although I want to bring more of these cries from within her throat I go gently into her. It seems to please her now.

As I continue I feel her hand slide between my legs. Aye, I nearly forgot that I was still a virgin. Before I could say anything to my wife she enters me. I could not help but to moan into her beautiful hair. Her fingers begin to move at the same pace as mine. She breaks through my maidenhead quite clumsily. I must admit that hurt, but after it feels good. Knowing that it is her, the woman I pledged my life to taking my virginity makes it feel so much better. Mercy's name falls from my lips multiple times as she continues to move inside of me. My name, both Salem and birth name fall from her lips as her insides become hot. Her legs start to quiver against me. At the same time my knees begin to buckle. I can feel my own sweat coming down the sides of my face. Interesting to know that as a vampire I still sweat. A glimmering coat of sweat covers Mercy's body. I could not help but to moan and kiss her neck.

"Jamie!" She moans loudly. Her body tenses up. At the same time her insides clench hard against me fingers then releases. Almost right after my body follows suit. I moan my wife's name before collapsing on top of her. She pants with me as it all becomes clear. Our marriage ritual is complete. She indeed now is my wife.

"Oh my love." She finally says, "I am yours at last." I nod and kiss her cheek. I sit up and got over to the table. I made something for her while she was away. She stares at me oddly as I hold my hands behind my back.

"We will always be together will we not?" She smiles then moves her hair out of her face.

"Aye! We shall be together always! And I will be your loyal wife at your side for all time both in body and heart." I smile then sit on the bed.

"You forgot soul my love." She giggles and nods.

"Soul too. We shall always be together." I smile then reveal what was behind my back. I present to wooden ring I made. I looked over it many times before to make sure that there were no type of way to harm her.

"It is customary that a noble give proof of their love for their wife." I put the ring on her finger then have her look in my eyes.

"I may not be a noble yet, but when we are... I will give you a ring made of solid gold. It will glitter in the light to let everyone know that you are mine. I know not what other vampires will think of our union, but it will not matter. I will love you know matter what happens to us." Tears form in her eyes before she embraces me.

"This wooden ring better than any gold jewelry. You made it from your heart, and it is your heart that I long for." I hold her face gently in my palms.

"I love thee Mercy Danforth." She smiles then kisses me. I pull her into my embrace. The feel of the ring on my back makes my entire body burst into flame. Before I could react she has me on my back. I giggle as we are enclosed in her hair. I run a few strands through my fingers.

"I adore your hair. It reminds me of the dawn. It is so beautiful." Mercy sits up and looks at her hair.

"You do not think it the color of the fires of hell?" I chuckle.

"Not at all. It might as well be known that my hair is the color of hell fire." We both laugh into the night. Mercy and I lay together more. I needed not to worry if I hurt her. It were so perfect I just need not worry. Mercy got tired after a while and went to sleep on me. As I caress her while she sleeps I wonder about Blume. Mercy and I were warm in bed, and she were out in that cruel cold. The temperature had dropped since the witch dangled from the rope. Saryia... I bid thee be safe. Loosing you is not an option for me.
