Saryia
The boats could not have landed a shore any slower. When they did I gave the troops no rest. Boudicca and her forces rushed on their horses while the rest of the troops with me bolted to the pack house. All of my work, all of the planning, infiltration, torture, murder, and attempted murder would be for nothing. All that has been done would be a vain attempt at my salvation. I do fear if everything fails and Killian's line is ended I will become that very monster that Haty feared. There would be no point in having morals. That is why I stressed urgency to the king. Edmund immediately gave us permission to go. I do believe he trust me greatly. There was a condition that Jamie is to report anything I do, so he must trust her more. It is well placed trust. I do not deny that she is a lot more mentally stable than I, but she does not have the weight of the world on her shoulder. I should her problems along with everyone else's. That is also being the queen. The entire world's problems laid at my feet.
"Saryia! You're shaking." Exous puts my hands in his. I look up as he begins to pat my hands.
"We will get there in time. Do not worry."
"These are hunters we are dealing with. The very fact that they escaped me puts me on edge. Driver, go faster!"
"Yes Princess!" These automobiles are useless! I could get there faster on foot! Blasted contraption! The car comes to a stop and I hop out. Two of the wolves are standing there. We are at the outskirts of their territory.
"Princess Saryia? Why are you here with an army?"
"Send message to Sean and his son quickly! Hunters are closing in on your pack as we speak! Give way! It is a waste of time talking with you!" They look at one another foolishly. Instead of waiting for them I start to run forward. I moved so quickly that I did not hear them say stop. As I ran down the path I smell the hunters. That is a lot of them. I detour and wipe out a wave of them. That should give them time. I begin to run again.
"Saryia!" I look behind me and see Jamie and Exous catching up. That puts me at ease that they are behind me. I pick up the pace and I start to hear screams. When I make it to the house I see some of it is already under attack. Hunters are swarming from every side. I pull out my guns and begin to shoot those heading to the house. Jamie and Exous fall in behind me. The rest of the pack is not a concern to me. Sean and his main family are who I am after. I rush forward and into the house. A wolf comes up to me. Those turquoise eyes, must be a offspring of Tara.
"Where is Sean?" The wolf leads me in as a beam begins to fall. I throw the wolf back to the exit saving them from being crushed. Further in the house I hear a cry that sounded like Sean.
"Grandda!" A male voice calls.
"Sean! Sean! Where are you?!" I call out into the house.
"Help! Over here!" The male voice calls out again.
"Keep talking and I will find you!" The voice keeps calling for help and I find him with Sean. Sean is trapped under a burning beam. The young man is big and strong, almost a replica of Killian.
"Saryia..." Sean calls to me.
"It's okay Sean. Young man, I need you to garb your grandfather when I push the beam up." He nods as I begin to hoist it up. He pulls his grandfather out and Sean scrambles to grab a book he had. I put the beam down and scoop up the old man.
"Go run to the exit!" I run with Sean and the boy to the exit. I jump over fallen beams and get outside where my troops have already rounded up the remaining hunters.
"The pack." The boy says, "They're gone." I look at him and back to my troops.
"With the pack gone the other packs will move in. Grandda, what do we do?" Sean coughs and I hold him tighter.
