Once we got out of that stuffy airport we headed to the street and waved down a taxi. James let me try to but when I failed miserably James waved one down in the next 2 minutes. Now I was mad. He thinks he's better than me! I will show him!
We loaded the trunk then got in and James gave the driver directions, but when he said the address the driver looked at us like we were 2 hobos catching a ride to Tartarus. Then I chipped in and said I'd he drove us there I would give him a gold bar, and proved it to him by unzipping my backpack and taking out a good sized 24 carrot bar. James looked at me the same way the driver did, with astonishment. I smirked, "what?!?, I might be rich..."
He just responded by mumbling something under his breath. He looked out his side of his window and glared at a bug on the window sill.
In 30 seconds the bug bursted into flames! "What?!? Did I forget to tell you my dad gave me a extra gift of using fire. I'm not just some dumb kid who only knows how to fight!" I gave him my signature eye roll, but apparently James has something against eye rolls. We ended up on the back seats in he midst of a tickle fight. I was thrashing around while James was laying on top of me grinning like he is a 5 year old who got a puppy.
Before I knew it we were leaning in and it turned into a heated make out session. We kissed for what felt like forever. We finally broke away and almost immediately I started blushing, James sat up and was grinning from ear to ear. Then I realized that I have feelings for James.
"Thanks for that goddess."
When he said that I got all nervous. How did he know I'm a goddess?!?
When he saw my expression he immediately look worried and said, do you not like the nickname... cause I can change..."
I cut him off and I told him I loved the new name. "Goddess", I mumbled to myself. Hhhmmm. I like it.
