The goddess of all gods

Chapter 9

After the tour, Percy took me to Hermes cabin.Percy knocked on the door three times then they came out movie around the age of 19 with sandy blond hair and eyes as blue as the sky. "Hey Luke I was wondering if you could take in the new girl Kendall and show her around a bit and introduce her to some of the campers"."Yeah no problem man come on in Kendall.".So I walked in and I was not expecting when I saw in every direction there were bunkbeds and they weren't the nice kind you find a hotel sometimes no they were the ones that were cramped in every corner with dirty a dishes on the beds and the blankets were not folded and there's clothes everywhere, wow this is going to be one summer I thought. Luke me the essentials like toothbrush,camp half-blood shirt, and some jeans and assigned me a bunk bed in the corner of the room. I scrambled to get up the but when I finally did I sat down on the bed exhausted I close my eyes and just thought about today and how the day started when I realize how much I've been through I was surprised and shocked that my brain can handle so much.

Before I knew it I heard is really loud bell so I got up from the bad and it went to Luke and I asked him what was that about is it emergency I said quickly panicking in my head running over all emergency plans from the inside out. "No it's just telling us a time for dinner and a special something afterwards" he said smirking. We all walked out of the cabin to the big dining hall where everyone I assumed ate we walk to the table that had 'Hermes' on it and then we sat down we started talking to each other. As soon as everyone came  in and all the cabins at settle down then we went up and got our food but I noticed something odd , all the kids went to the fireplace and started murmuring something under the breath and scraped some food from their plate into the fire so I went up to a kid in Hermes cabin and asked "what are they doing with the food?", and the girl I asked responded with the snarky comment saying "they're just praying  to their parents and giving them an offering ",she said it like it was the most obvious thing in the world.

I thought along walking up to the fireplace but I did something different when I walked up and prayed I didn't grade one God like Hermes but I prayed all them I don't know why but I just did it felt right it felt like it was most to be soon after I sat down at the table and started talking to friendly people I sue made some friends Olivia a girl from the Aphrodite's cabin andand a boy from the Apollo cabin Alex. We started talking about every day life in our stories about how we got here it was my turn told my story I am going to detail about my father Hermes I felt like I wasn't I wasn't ready yet to share it with the camp what we were talking James started to come overhe sat down right next to me and kiss me on the cheek I started blushing while the whole table was 'awwwing'.

After dinner we had the announcements when the announcements came Chorion  stood  up and started shouting our over all  the campers until he got everyone's attention he stated "we will be having our first capture flag game of the summer" before he even finish the sentence everyone started cheering I mean I don't even know what was so special about this capture the flag I mean it probably will be worse than what we played in gym.

All the sudden everyone stopped talking and looked at me. So I asked the nearest kid to me "what is there some thing on my face?"and all he didn't response was stare at me and back away "wow real helpful", I murmured. I looked up to see what they're looking at and I was awestruck too because above my head was a floating symbol. It wasn't  like any other symbol I've seen before, it wasn't the symbol of a god either it was the symbol of all the gods combined and it made a royal crown...

Everyone bowed even the gods showed up and bowed to me. I didn't know how these things worked so I just told them to stand up. When everyone was up I asked one question out of a million running though my head. " Who am I really?". Zeus came up to me with a proud fatherly smile on his face " you my child are the princess( soon to be queen)/ goddess of all the gods. You are more powerful then all of us." He said while gesturing to the rest of the gods.

That's when it finally hit me... I'm a royal goddess. And I am here to stay.
