Chapter 19

Kate is on the top.

"My name is... Kendall."
"Oh we all know who you are.", they all exclaimed.

We started laughing because they were ll acting like siblings, until we were interupted by shouting downstairs.

We went downstairs and see what the commotion was, to find that my dad, Poseidon and my evil mermaid stepmom in a fight, this was not a good fight, no this was a bad one.

This was the kind of fight that if you interrupted,YOU DEAD.

Because none of my friends wanted to get in the middle of this not so friendly argument they all decided it would be best if they would slowly walk backwards until they were out of the room.

But I had another idea.

I approached my parents and my evil stepmom as if they were my pray and I was the predator. I cautiously swam forward until I was in my parents line of view.

My dad started stuttering, I guess he didn't want me to see my two parents fighting,"so-sorry we www-were just fffiii-fighting about something really ssss-silly." " Oh that's great, now tell me WHAT THE CRAP YOU WERE FIGHTING ABOUT. NOW...",I demanded in a voice so strong I didn't know it was humanly possible.

Oh wait that's right I'm not a human.

Either my parents were scared to see me more pissed or they didn't like to see their baby girl so sad. Nhaaww, I'm going for the second one.

They both looked at the ground ashamed, like why your mom tells you that you have been naughty.

I liked the feeling of control, but that soon ended when my dad started talking. " I was just yelling at your mom because she is planning on taking over the world with the other goddesses. Operantly all the goddess' want you gone."

At this I turned around trying to calm myself, I could tell my eyes were changing to the color red because all I could see is red, I was getting weird looks, and I had a thirst for blood.

Once I regained control of my body again I turned around just in time to see my evil step mom (I'm giving her an nickname, it's witch. Pretty self explanatory.) trying to escape the castle. Before she could go any farther I swam in front of her with Kate behind her and my dad and Percy circling her so she had no where to swim.

She looked at me with a defeated look, but her eyes told the truth, I grabbed her by the hair when she round house kicked me in the stomach and flipped me over so she was on top of me with a iron spear pointed at my heart.

My father new not to come any further when I mind linked him,m' I'll be ok, I need to go with her to see what she's planing, when I know enough I'll come back. I promise you..." Is all I could say before the witch swam away with me.

I focused on the task ahead when I barely made out, 'I love you Kendall, dad loves you, come home safe..."
