Recap: " Kate", is all I could say before breaking down in tears...
"I must be having a nightmare",I murmured to myself. I thought no one heard me, I guess I was wrong because just as I looked up Percy hugged and whispered in my ear, " it's real baby girl, it's real."
I got the shivers that you get when you're crush talks to you like your his. I shook it off, no I won't fall for him, that would be rude to Annabeth.
I slipped out of his grasp and ran/swam into my sister's arms. It felt good to still have a part of my family left. The only person I could trust was here with me again after thinking she was dead for 3 years.
Wait that didn't make sense. How did she get here...now...,like she read my mind she said, " on the night that I 'died' Zeus came to me and told me that if I wanted to keep you safe I would need to fake my death and live on Olympus, so technically the gods are our...", she didn't have to finish that sentence I hugged her so tight she turned bright pink just like her tail, but her tail was a rose gold...
Then I remembered the dance tonight. I looked at the clock on my wall, it said 7 pm. " oh crap!", I basically screamed. The ball started at 8 pm! I grabbed Kate's hand and dragged her to my closet. Before we could start getting ready she blurted out, " I have powers too!" I squealed in delight. She gave me a questioning look, I guess she expected me to be surprised, oh well barley anything can surprise me anymore.
"Oh! I have a great idea, let's change our tails!" So we both changed the colors of our tails to match the dresses we were wearing. We did our makeup with magic till we got it all right. We looked over each others outfits in the mirror and we gave each other a big thumbs up. I was laughing at one of the stupidest jokes that Kate made when we got to the top of the stairs to be stopped by...
