My last chapter was stupid.

Location: Camp Half-Blood

My eyelids were heavy, letting me know that I have slept more than I normally did. "Ouch," I whispered at the throbbing in the back of my head.

"Baby Girl," I heard my mom's voice ask. I open my eyes and see her with panic in her eyes and dark circles under her eyes. I sit up and she wraps her arms around me.

"Mommy," I said wrapping my arms around her. She lets me go and sat near me.

"Are you alright? What hurts," she asked. "I've been so worried."

"Mom I had a weird dream. You and Percy were there and I was hanging over fire and-," she cut me off.

"Honey that wasn't a dream," my mom said. I was shocked.

"Mom, what's going on," I asked.

"Your a Demigod," my mother said.

"Ha-ha, Mom that's a funny joke," I said. "The only way I could be a demigod, is if you... 'hooked up' with a Greek god. And Greek gods don't exist," I said. She looked down with shame. "Mom, tell me I'm right. Tell me that your kidding." Nothing. "Mom???"

"I'm sorry, baby. Your brother and I thought we were keeping you safe." She sobbed and buried her face in her hands.

One thing you got to know about me, I hate to see my mother cry. And she probably knows it.

"Aw, Mommy, don't cry," I said, pulling her down to hold her. "I understand."

"You do," she asked, sitting up. I swear, sometimes I'm the parent and she's the little girl.

"Mom, I can't be mad at you. Therefore, I always have a cold head around you and Percy." Mom laughed softly. "You raised me without Dad but with Smelly Gabe. And yeah we dealt with many things and most of the things he caused many things, but you made me the girl I am today. Percy taught me to be tough, play sports and how to throw a proper punch. But you mom, you taught me to write, be girly, be vulnerable and be okay with who I am. I can never be mad at you for trying to protect me from something that could change everything I've been taught my whole life to believe." She got teary during my little speech and hugged me by the end of it.

We talked a little more and found out I've been out for 21 hours. Jeez, I'm a lazy bum. The only thing we didn't talk about was my father.

I always had faith that my father would come back to us, and that I would hear his stories. That he would tell me who he was and accept my brother and I for who we were.

I had told my mom a joke when Percy came in.

"Arty-Artemis your back," he yelled as he ran over to hug me.

"Hey, Big Bro," I said wrapping my arms around him. We started to do our hand shake when a sudden pain came from my wrist. It was then that I noticed that the rope had cut or burned my wrist badly. And it hurt to move them.

"Come on, we'll go get them bandaged and then I'm going to introduce you to someone you're really going to spoil," he said, carefully grabbing my arm with a wide grin. My brother always knew how to make me smile.

Mom followed us with a couple of giggles and an arm around both of us. As we walked to the infirmary, I assume, my brother pointed out things that I was going to be doing. Most of the kids here were training, so I kept quiet.

When we reached the infirmary, Percy grabbed some bandages and began to wrap them around my wrist. He would wrap it a few times around near my thumbs just because we were used to doing that.
