Alfie's P.O.V
My eyes slowly open and I check my surroundings. Zoe was still asleep on my chest and it was pitch black outside. The kids seem to be asleep also so I decided to check my Twitter.
"Alfie, Alfie!" Mason shouts, running now towards my side of the bed.
"You scared me and lower your voice," I politely remind.
"Me hungry," he admits. I check the clock and it was 4:22 am. To be honest, I felt hungry myself.
"Okay we could get some food," I smile. "What do you want?" I ask.
"Pizza," he smirks, licking his lips. Pizza for breakfast, why not. God these kids are exactly like Zoe.
"Alright and how about lemonade? Is that okay?" I ask.
"Yeah," he gasps. I slowly slide Zoe off of me and dial room service.
"Hi could I get two margarita pizzas, and 4 lemonades?" I ask.
"It'll be a 30 minute wait," She replies.
"Okay Mahalo," she ends.
"Alright I ordered the food, go play on your iPod quietly while you wait for the food," I instruct. He climbs back into bed and plays a game. Jet lag is the worst. Now both Mason and I are wide awake at 4:30 am. Zoe was still sleeping and she looked absolutely exhausted but still gorgeous. She was really upset last night about someone. Who? She said no more secrets but maybe it's just something she's not ready to talk about. I lay back onto my pillow and wrap my arms around her again. She turns around and snuggles into my chest. I pull out my vlogging camera and quietly vlog.
"Gooood Morrrrnnning guys, right now it's 4:32 am in Hawaii and Mason and I are up but the girls are still asleep. We've just ordered a pizza and lemonades for breakfast." I whisper. I hear a knock on the door and Mason, Melody, who is now awake, and I make our way over.
"Hello," I greet opening the door.
"Let me guess, jet lag," the employee chuckles.
"Big time. Thank you so much," I smile, taking the cart. The pizzas were in shapes of Mickey's and the lemonade had little umbrellas and orchids. Man their presentation is good. I wheel the cart all the way in and the kids follow behind me.
"Let me go get Mummy then we could eat alright?" I ask.
"Okay," they nod. I go back to our bed and try to wake her up.
"Gorgeous," I whisper, in her ear.
She slowly shifts and opens her eyes.
"Morning sleepy head," I cheer.
"What time is it?" She asks.
"4:46," I reply.
"Are the kiddies up?" She continues, sitting up.
"Yeah they're practically drooling over the pizzas and lemonade right now," I laugh.
"You ordered food already?" She wonders.
"Mason's idea for the pizza. Now come on let's go eat before its all gone," I convince.
I grab her hand and bring her over to the living room.Zoe's P.O.V
"Morning Mummy," Melody screams.
"Morning baby," I kiss.
"Hi Mummy," Mason cheers.
"Hey, Mase," I reply. "Wow this looks good," I admit. Within seconds we devour the pizza and lemonades. It's now 5:07 and nothing was open this early.
"You guys want to watch the sunrise?" I ask. I've always wanted to do that but never wake up early enough to. Plus we're in Hawaii, it'll be even prettier. We all make our way to the balcony and sit there. The morning air was crisp and cool. Knowing the kids, they lose their interest very quickly, so they brought their iPods outside. I vlog for awhile and talk to Alfie.
"You okay?" He asks.
"Yeah I'm fine," I reply.
"You want talk about it?" He suggests.
"Um... I..." I mumble.
"Hey you don't have to. Just know you can tell me anything and I'm here," he reassuringly smiles, tucking my hair back. That smile always made me feel better, no matter what was going on. I nod and he pulls me closer. We stare at the sun until it rises and it was absolutely gorgeous. Maybe jet lag isn't as bad now. The scuba diving starts at 6:30 and the kids begged to go yesterday. We get into swim costumes and make our way down to the diving area. I grab my vlogging camera and record everything I saw. All the fish, corals, and turtles, were incredible.
"Mummy I found Nemo," Mason cheers.
"Me too," Melody adds.
"Did you find a Dory?" I chuckle.
"Whose that?" Melody questions.
"Do you remember the blue fish?" Alfie joins. She shakes her head and goes back down to the water. Once our two hours were up, we make our way back to the hotel room and get dressed into some clothes. I wanted to explore more of Hawaii and walk down the streets. There were all these cute little shops and stores.
We get into a little souvenir shop and browse for awhile.
"Mummy can I get this?" Mason asks holding up a little wooden tiki statue.
"Yeah that's fine," I smile. We pay for everything and head out to more shops.
"Uppy," Melody demands.
"Uh uh, you have feet. I can't go around carrying you all the time," I admit. She immediately turns over to Alfie and lifts her arms up. He puts her on his back and she has a devious little smile on her face.
"You've been hanging out with Uncle Joe too much," I chuckle. Mason was always a walker. He hated being carried and never wanted to be. It was getting dark so we decided to grab some dinner at the local cafe. The kids missed their naps and were about to pass out on the table. We quickly eat and I get them in the shower. Rushing, I get them both in pajamas and in bed.
"Did you have fun today?" I ask, kissing their foreheads. They nod and in a snap, they're asleep. I get into bed with Alfie and get snuggled in his chest. He shuts off his laptop and wraps his arm around me. My eyes slowly drift off into sleep along with his. This is actually the last Hawaiian chapter but I hoped you enjoyed it. Also Happy New Year!
