Chapter 70: A New Beginning

Knightwalker's Pov:

I slowly awoken by someone shaking me. I slowly opened my eyes and saw Jellal all dress up head to toe.

"Jellal what are you doing?" I asked. I looked at the clock and it was almost 1 in the morning.

"Erza, I need to tell you something." Jellal whispered.

"Why are you covered head to toe?" I asked.

"I'm leaving Edolas." He said.

"What! No you can't..." Jellal placed a hand over my mouth to quiet me.

"I want to runaway with you. I want you to come with me. I'm not leaving without you." Jellal said.

"But why?" I asked.

"All the things that's been happening around here it's not safe for you. You been under a lot of stress lately and that's not good for the baby. If it goes worst your going to loss the baby. The council already knows about us, but they don't know about the baby. That's why I packed up my stuff and I took all my money for we can leave Edolas and live together alone." Jellal said.

"By what about being king?" I asked.

"I gave up the throne for you. I told you before that I would give up my life for you and this is it. I want to runaway together and we can have the baby. We are going to leave Edolas and live somewhere else where we will be safe. The baby will be born and we can raise it and everything will be alright." Jellal said.

"But where will we go?" I asked.

"Anywhere better then here." He said. "We leave now when it's dark and nobody will see us. Am not spending the rest of my life with someone I don't love. I want to spend it with you and our little angel." Jellal said as he placed my hands on my belly.

I smiled warmly.

"I'll go with you and we will be together forever, nobody is going to tore us apart." I said as I hugged him.

"Alright, pack up your things and I'm leaving a note." Jellal said.

I nodded my head and left Jellal's room and headed for my room.

I arrived at my room and grabbed my backpack and started to pack up half of my clothes, pictures, two of my dirty love books, I took all my money, I took a blanket, some medicine, and my nightdress.

I went through my dresser and found a shirt that will cover my arms and and stomach. I found other dark clothes and put them on as well. I'm now all covered head to toe.

Jellal then quietly entered into my room.

"Ready?" Jellal asked.

"What about food?" I asked.

"I already got that covered. I got enough food for us. Do you really want to leave Erza?" Jellal asked me as I was still packing.

"If your coming with me, then I will follow you anywhere. Where you are that is home to me." I smiled sweetly.

Jellal held up and note and put it out on my desk and placed his crown his well.

"Where did you get your crown?" I asked.

"Someone left it outside my door." Jellal said.

I placed my army bag down with Jellal's crown on top of the note. We are both leaving something behind to show them that we left Edolas.

The last thing I picked with me was my ten commandments. Jellal and I looked back at the note.

"Ready Erza?" Jellal asked me.

"Yeah," I said.

Jellal and I kiss before we both left my room.

We must now be quiet. We sneaked through the hallways of the kingdom. We passed a few guards and they didn't notice us. We continued sneaking around and I helped Jellal sneak around, because he not like me who always watches people and sneaks around everywhere.

We finally made it to the front of the kingdom doors that will lend us to the outside world. Jellal quietly opened the doors and I found that there was a guard protecting the opening to the kingdom.

"Go around to the right side." I whispered to Jellal.

We both sneaked to the right side and found that they was no guards there. But there was a high fence.

"We are going to have to climb it." I said.

"Alright," Jellal whispered. "I'll go first and then get you."

Since we are both wearing dark clothing it's going to be hard to see us.

Jellal start to climb the wall and lifted up his foot to help him up and once he was on top and held out his hand to help me and get up as well. I finally made it and just in time.

Jellal and I jumped down and saw that we were now outside the kingdom walls.

"That was easy." Jellal said.

"Well, I know how guards watch the area around here at night fall." I said. Jellal smiled warmly to me and hugged me and kissed my warm lips.

"We are now free, let's go." Jellal said as he took my hand and we walked through the city.

We finally made it to the end of Edolas and we both looked down at the city behind us. I held Jellal close to my chest as we hugged each.

"I'll miss Edolas." Jellal said.

"Me to, but now we are together." I said.

Mystogan's Pov:

I'm now looking back it Edolas for the last time. Tears were threatening to come out of my eyes. This is my home, I'm leaving it again, however I'm leaving with her and not leaving her behind.

"And your right that's all that matters." I said as I hugged Erza and gently rubbed the belly.

We both turned around and left Edolas for good.

"Erza we are going to have a life together." I said.

"We can get married now. I have my ring with me." Erza said.

"I brought two other wedding rings for us. We don't need to have a real wedding all we need to do is say I do and the rings on each other and kiss. That's all." I said well joking around a bit.

"Real funny Jellal." Erza joked around with me.

"Erza, this is going to be a new beginning for us. Just the three of us." I said.

"I love you Jellal Fernandes." Erza said happily.

"And I love you Erza Knightwalker." We both kissed and headed out towards the sun raise.

We both don't know where we are going, or where we end up at. However, all the matters is that we have each other. In nine months Erza is going to give birth to a baby boy or a baby girl. We are going to be together forever like we always said with our little one. Our wishes have come true.

This is a new beginning for the two of us. Our new life starts now!
