Ciara's P.O.V.:
I looked in the mirror and was shocked. The girl in the mirror didn't look like me: red, puffy eyes and mascara stains on her cheeks. Was the really me?
I sighed and turned the water on to wash my face. I grabbed my towel and covered my face with it when I felt an arm wrap around my waist.
"She'll be okay," Dean murmered in my hair and kisses the top of my head. I didn't say anything, but I turned around and buried my head in his chest hugging him tight. We stayed like that for a while while he rubbed my back. I can't erase the look on her face when she found out she was in a hospital.
"She shouldn't be alone," I whispered, "hospitals freak her out."
"They do? Why?" Dean asked confused. He's right though, why would a hospital freak someone out?
"She saw her parents die shortly after each other a couple of years ago. Whenever she goes to the hospital or hears that word she gets a panic attack and it's not pretty," I said.
"I'm so sorry to hear that, but we can't go back there, angel. Visiting hours are over. But I promise we'll go first thing in the morning," Dean said and kissed the top of my head. I nodded. "Come here," he said and picked my up bridal style and carried me to the bedroom. I smiled and snuggled my head in his neck.
"I'm too exhausted to change in my pjs," I whispered as I almost drifted to sleep. I felt the bed underneath me, but Dean didn't lay me down just yet. I felt him take off my clothes and put my pjs on me. I murmered a thank you I lay my head on the pillow. I felt the bed dip beside me and arms wrap around me.
"Sweet dreams, angel," I heard before I dozed off.
The next morning I woke up by the sun shining through the curtains and the sunlight landing on my eyes. I growned and rolled over to snuggle into Dean's chest, but he wasn't there. I opened my eyes and noticed the space beside me was empty. I sat up in bed and rubbed my eyes. I got out of bed and went downstairs. That's when I found him. He was in the kitchen with his bare back towards me, making breakfast. I walked over to him and hugged him from behind.
"Good morning, beautiful," he said and looked over his shoulder to me. "How did you sleep?" He asked.
"Fine, thanks, you?" I asked back and kissed his back softly.
"Great, I was holding you so I always sleep amazing," he said. I grinned at his cheesyness. Is that a word? It is now.
Dean put the pancakes on a plate and fed me. I giggled while I ate it with a smile on my face. After breakfast I went upstairs and got changed. I went back downstairs."I'm going to the hospital to check up on Lau, I'll be back later," I said as I kissed his cheek.
I arrived at the hospital half an hour later and went to her room. When I got there the bed was empty but I could hear someone sobbing. It didn't take me long to figure out it was Laurine. The panic attack has begun and that's exactly what I was afraid of. I found against a wall and sat down next to her, wrapping my arms aroud her trying my best to comfort her. It was then when it hit me again how fragile she is.
