As the hours until we arrive home dwindle closer... I feel more and more uneasy. I almost feel like I'm being watched.
"You okay?" Preston asks from the doorway.
"Yeah, I'm fine." I reply, continuing to pack our things.
"Are you sure?" He asks. I refuse to look at him, but I can imagine his position. He has his arms folded and is leaning against the doorframe.
"Yeah, I'm sure." I reply.
"Are you almost done packing?" He asks.
"Yeah." I respond.
"Okay... And I forgot to tell you this, but I found a really nice condo... So if you like it, we could rent it and move in." Preston says.
"Really?!?" I ask, looking at him.
"Yeah. It's amazing!" He exclaims, collapsing on his bed. "The complex has a gym and a pool and the living room is two-stories high... And you'd love the kitchen!"
I giggle. "Sounds like it! If you like it, then I like it."
"But you didn't even see it yet!" He whines.
"I thought you would've said something like 'I didn't know you trusted me that much' or 'that's adorable bae.'" I say, smacking him with his shirt.
"Nope." He grins. I smack him again with the shirt. "Ouch! That hurt!" He says.
"Too bad." I stick my tongue out at him.
Suddenly, he grabs one of my shirts. "Are we really gonna do this?" I ask, sighing.
"Yes!" He says, whacking me with the shirt.
"Let me check the time before we go crazy." I tell him. I grab my phone from my bedside table and check the time. "Fudge! We have to leave in an hour!" I exclaim as my eyes widen.
"We shall continue this fight another time." Preston says, folding the shirt and putting it inside the suitcase. I do the same and we grab out suitcases. We head downstairs and leave our bags by the door.
"You guys are already packed?!?!" Mitch exclaims.
"Yeah." Preston replies. "Although Caitlin did all the work."
"Stereotypical." He replies.
"Are you being sexist?!?!" I yell, throwing a pillow at him. It hits him in the face, and laughing is heard from the other room.
"ROB!" I yell. "Come help me!!"
"Coming!" He yells. Rob runs into the room and grabs me, then jumps onto the couch.
"Owww... What was that for?!?!" I exclaim.
"Oops! I forgot about Preston!" Rob smacks his forehead. I look at where Preston was standing, but he is no longer there,
"I bet you he ran off." I tell him.
"Ugh." Rob sighs, but an unsuspecting Aussie enters the room. "LACHLAN!!!" Rob yells, jumping up and tackling him to the ground. Lachlan tries to speak, but his voice is muffled.
Rob gets off of Lachlan, and I stand up, walking over to the pair. "CAITLIN!!" Lachlan yells, tackling me.
"What is going on?!?!" I squeak out.
"SANDWICH TIME!!" Rob yells. I groan as Rob jumps on top of us.
"Wait for meeeee!!" Mitch yells. Another weight is added, and soon Jerome and Vikk join.
"Help meeee...." I whisper. Having five guys sandwiched on top of you is not fun.
"What is going on?" A familiar southern accent asks.
"Preston.... I'm being squished!" I squeak out.
"Cool! Let me join!" He says, somehow getting on top of Vikk. At this point, my lungs are practically screaming from having the whole pack on top of me.
Alanna and Jess are laughing their heads off, and I give them devilish glares.
"So, as you guys can see... It's the pack sandwich plus Caitlin." Jess says to Mitch's camera.
"Come on! Caitlin is a part of the pack!" Lachlan says. I blush at his words.
Suddenly, a gush of wind bursts through the room and pushes all of the guys off of me.
"I'm freeeee!!!" I yell, standing up and looking at the camera.
"No, you're not!!" Lachlan, Rob and Preston yell.
They tackle me again and I groan. "Ughhhh... Guyyyyyssss."
"Crap! We're gonna be late to the airport!!" Alanna yells, checking the time.
"Let's go!!" Vikk yells, prying Lachlan off of me and running up the stairs. Alanna and Jess run upstairs as well, while Preston, Mitch, Jerome and I sit on the couch.
----------------------------------------
Somehow, we managed to fit everybody in two cars and arrived at the airport. We already said goodbye to Jerome and Mitch, and now I turn to Lachlan. He is going back to Australia today."Goodbye, Lachlan!" I cry out, jumping on him and hugging him tightly.
He hugs me tightly. "Goodbye, Caitlin. I'm gonna miss you." He sets me down.
"I'm gonna miss you too." I say as I wipe the corner of my eye.
"Don't forget, you HAVE to skype me sometime!"
"I won't forget." I smile.
"Caitlin!!!" Alanna and Jess yell, hugging me.
"Hey, guys. I'm gonna miss you both so much!!" I say.
"We're gonna miss you too!!" Alanna cries out.
"Don't let your dad roughhouse you anymore." Jess says.
"I won't..." I whisper. I turn to Vikk, who just finished kissing Lachlan.
"Caitlin!" He says, turning to me.
"Vikk!!" I reply, hugging him.
"I'm gonna miss you!"
"I'm gonna miss you too!!" I cry into his jacket.
"Hey don't cry... And get over your depression... Just like I did." He whispers into my hair. I nod and hug him tightly, then let go and wipe my tears away.
I turn to Rob and hug him tightly. "Call me if you need me; I'm always willing to beat your dad up." He says.
"Thanks Rob." I hold onto him, not willing to let my childhood friend go.
"You should come visit my new apartment sometime." He says.
"Yeah... I'm gonna miss you a lot." I wipe the tears away.
"I'm gonna miss you a lot too... But you're gonna come over soon, right?"
"Yeah." I reply, slowly letting go of him.
"Flight 207 is now boarding." The lady over the intercom says.
"That's our flight." Preston says. I grab his outstretched hand and we start to walk away. I look back and wave to everybody, and we board our plane.
