Chapter 2

Myles' pov
I'm really sore from going horse riding yesterday so I think that we should do something relaxing today like go to the cinema. Yes that's what we should do.
Then Briar walks downstairs in a beautiful dress.
"You look stunning this morning Bri." I say and kiss her.
"You look handsome yourself Milo." She says back.
"I was thinking that we could go to the cinema today." I say.
"Sure!" She says back.
Then we get in the car and I drive us to the cinema.
When we get there we look at what's on and they're all horror movies. I know that Briar doesn't like scary movies but I think that she can survive by seeing one.

Briar's pov
I don't like the choice of films but Myles seems to like them so I will watch one.
"How about this one?" He says and points to a movie.
(I don't know any horror movies except for the Purge so I will go with that)
"Ok." I say and we walk in holding hands.
"Two tickets for the Purge please." Myles says and pays for us to go in.
About five minutes after we sit down in the cinema the film starts playing. I look over at Myles and he looks really interested in the film and so does everyone else in the cinema. I gulp.
My hands start getting sweaty and it gets to a scary part. As soon as the scary bit starts, I bury my face into Myles' chest and he cuddles me. I can hear screaming coming from the screen and I don't want to look. I look at Myles and he is somehow enjoying the film.
"I'm just going to go to the bathroom." I whisper to him.
"Ok." He whispers back.
I walk out really quickly because I don't really want to see the rest of that film. Myles payed for me so I guess that I have to. I walk into the girls' bathroom and splash my face with water. Ok I have to go back into the cinema without screaming. When I walk back in I sit back down next to Myles and he puts his arm around me.
"Why is tour face wet?" He whispers.
"Oh there is a broken tap in the toilets and it splashed everywhere." I lied.
"Oh ok." He whispered back to me.
I hear a scream from the movie and bury my head into Myles' chest agin and he kisses my forehead. I look up and see a knife go into someone and I just get up and leave the room.
"Bri?" Myles says after me.
I can't believe that I just did that. Now he thinks that I'm a big scaredy-cat. Great. Just then I see Myles walk through the doors. He hugs me tightly.
"If you wanted to leave, then you should have just said so." He says.
"Sorry I just don't like scary movies." I say and he kisses my cheek.
"I think that we should go home then." He says and puts his arm around me.
I still feel a bit jolty from watching the film in there so I go closer to Myles. As we are walking I feel a shiver go down my spine.
"You ok?" He asks.
"Yeah just a bit cold." I say and he takes off his jacket and puts it on me.
"Thanks." I say.
Then I feel someone tap me on the back. I scream and turn around.
"What are you doing?" Myles asks.
No one is there.
"Did you just tap me on the back?" I ask.
"No." He replies.
I look around again and no one is there.
"That's weird." I say.
"What is?" Myles asks.
"I felt someone tap me on the back but no one is there." I say.
Then Myles turns around to see if anyone is there but there isn't so he pulls me more tightly towards him.
"Don't worry. You're safe with me." He says and we walk back to the car to go home.
