Chapter 19

Myles' pov
Right now I'm just waiting for Briar to walk down the isle. I'm actually worried that she won't because of her nervous breakdown earlier on. I just hope that she walks down the isle. Everyone is staring at me. I look at the ground and realise that she probably won't turn up.
Suddenly the crowd cheers and I look up and see Briar walking down the isle. I smile and sigh with relief. She looks at me and smiles. She looks so beautiful. I can't wait to get married to her. I watch her walk up the isle until she gets to where I am.
"You may say your vows." The vicar says and Briar looks at me so I start.
"The first time I saw you was when we were acting on The Next Step. I was Noah, you were Richelle. I saw you audition and you were amazing. Your acting and dancing was incredible. When I heard you speak, I knew that you were the one." I say and a tear runs down her cheek but she quickly wipes it away.
"I can remember how nervous I was to ask you out. The first time I you spoke to me, I couldn't say a word. You were absolutely breath taking. When you said yes to go on a date with me, I was so happy. Now look at us, we're getting married. I promise to always care for you and love you." I say and I see my mum crying.
"I remember when we younger as well. When I first saw you, I couldn't take my mind off you. I didn't think that I liked you but in reality, I really liked you. When you asked me out, I melted. We never had a fight and we never broke up. Now your going to become my husband. I promise to always have your back and love you." She says.
"Do you Myles always promise to be faithful to Briar?" The vicar asks.
"I do." I say.
"Do you Briar always promise to be faithful to Myles?" The vicar asks Briar.
"I do." She says.
"Do you Myles take Briar to be your lawful wedded wife?" He asks me.
"I do." I say and everyone claps.
"Do you Briar take Myles to be your lawful wedded husband?" He asks Briar.
"I do." She says.
Everyone claps.
"You may kiss the bride!" The vicar says and I do.
Everyone stands on their feet and clap. I pull away and Briar starts crying.
Briar's pov
I'm crying because I'm just so happy. Today didn't start that well but got a lot better and now I'm married to Myles. Myles takes my hand and walks me back down the isle.
An hour later
Right now me and Myles are with our families at the wedding reception just talking when all of a sudden the lights go off.
"What's going on?" Myles' mum yells.
Cold air rushes in through the door and I hear a few screams.
"Myles." I say and he grabs me.
"It's ok." He says and holds me tightly.
My heart is pounding as I hear footsteps coming towards me. Everyone is quiet until I hear a voice.
"Briar Nolet." The voice says.
I freeze and suddenly hear sirens. But you know what? I'm not scared. I pull away from Myles but he reaches back out to me.
"It's Briar Erlick actually." I say.
"Since when did you become so cocky?" The voice says.
"Because I'm fed up with you. You sent me texts that were creepy, you tried to kidnap me. And you know what? I've had enough." I say and throw my fist in the air and it lands right on his face.
He yells in pain and he tries to punch back. I realise what's happening and duck. He ends up hitting a glass mirror and it shatters. I can't help but let out a giggle.
"I'm getting you!" He yells and the lights turn on. He grabs me and picks me up into the air.
"Briar!" Myles yells.
This guys is so stupid. He doesn't know that I'm a dancer and I've been lifted many times. I swing my leg back and hit him in the face with my high heel. He throws me down and Myles catches me.
"Are you ok?" He says to me.
"I'm fine." I say and get up.
I look down at the guy.
"You stupid person." I say and the police take him away.
Everyone cheers for me and Myles hugs me.
"That was so brave of you." Abbey says.
"That guy broke out of prison and tried to get me again. I wasn't having any of that." I say.
"Oh Briar." Myles says and laughs.
Suddenly the music starts playing.
"Shall we dance?" Myles asks and puts his hand out to me.
"We shall." I say and take his hand.
We start slow dancing with each other and I look into his eyes.
I can feel magic between us and he leans in and kisses me. I rest my head on his shoulder.
"I love you." I say.
"I love you too." He says.
