20. drink the pain away

                      **jacks pov**
"bryn can we just talk about this." i said shocked by what she just said. "theres nothing to talk about, jack." she said picking up her stuff. "bryn dont go." i said chasing after her. "no. im going to stay at my moms tonight. i need time to think. dont bother trying to make me stay the night." she yelled as she slammed her car door and drove away. i thought she'd yes yes. i dont know what i was thinking this was such a mistake. i need a drink. drinking will wash the pain away. thankfully im in a place full of alcohol.

                   **bryns pov**
i stopped home for like 5 minutes to grab some things. i didnt wanna be there for long so i didnt have to see jack. I got to my moms and went directly to the garage. thats where we keep the alcohol. i need to drink away my problems. it sounds stupid especially for a 18 year old. its not something id usually do but i need too. i grabbed some bottles from the fridge and went up to my room. it was all a blur from there on. i woke up expecting to have several missed calls and texts from jack. i guess i was wrong. i want him to prove he wants me back. it might seem selfish. but i am selfish. i mean i kinda overreacted. i should have just said i wasnt ready which im not.

i just got out of the shower and i heard a knock on the door. i assumed it was my mom and she just forgot her key or something. i wrapped myself in a towel and ran down the stairs. i opened the door and saw jack. i attempted to close the door on him but he put his hand out to stop it. "stop. im not leaving until we talk." he yelled. i tried to run up the stairs but jack stopped me by pinning me up against the wall. "we can do this the easy way or we can do this the hard way." he whispered in my ear. "jack." i whispered as he placed his lips on my neck. "now this is the easy way. i can keep going with this and see where it takes us. or we can just keep fighting." he said. "i think i like the easy way." i said as he placed his lips back on my neck.
