**a few weeks later**jacks pov**
i was at work doing work stuff or whatever until my phone rang. it was bryn. no big deal right? she checks up on my everyday. but this was no ordinary phone call.

>what time are you coming home?
<ill be home in about an hour. whats up?

<what did you do? you seem really happy.

<are you gonna tell me why?
>no. you just have to wait.

she doesnt usually get that happy. somethings up. i guess ill have to wait a little while.

"bryn?" i yelled as i walked into the apartment. "im in the kitchen!" she yelled back, "hi! how was work?" "it was ok. i missed you." i said as i kissed her from behind, "so what did you have to tell me." "oh yeah. ill tell you at dinner. go put on comfy clothes. the food will be done in a minute." i ran into our room and took off my work clothes. i just put on a pair of sweatpants. i never wear a shirt when im home. i walked out into the kitchen just in time. bryn was setting the food out on the table. we sat down at the table and started to eat. "so, about what i had to tell you." she smiled, "uhhh..." "just tell me!" i laughed. "ok! ok! uh im uh pregnant..."
"what?" i asked. "im pregnant." she said again. "uh... are we happy about this or?"i asked. "no. i mean yeah. i guess. i dont know." she said. "so im gonna be a dad? and youre gonna be a mom?" i asked. "yeah. i mean im happy about it. like this is gonna be a really cute kid." she laughed. "yeah. thats great! when did you find out?" i asked. "like 3 days ago. i didnt know how to tell you. im sorry i didnt tell you sooner"
she stated. "no. no. its fine." i smiled, "so have you gone to the doctor yet?" "yeah yesterday when i went to the 'store'." "so everythings good? with the baby." i asked. "yeah. im like 3 weeks along. im showing really fast. thats why ive been wearing baggy shirts." bryn laughed, "i need to lay down. this kids really taking the life out of me."
