we get to take claire home today which is good but also bad. itll just be me and jack alone with a baby. two 19 year olds raising a baby alone. i mean we are gonna get some help from our friends and family but both of our parents arent really proud of us so not having their support is gonna be really hard. but im still super exited to be taking my little princess home today. jess and luke are coming over to see her later so jack and i can have a few minutes to relax. we have been awake for like 20 hours straight because she doesnt sleep. she just cries and cries and it makes me wanna cry. the doctor says its normal but its a little much to deal with. anyways were about to get discharged from the hospital.

"bryn the seat isnt clicking." jack yelled to me. "jack breathe. you can do this" i said to him. it clicked and jack let out a sigh of relief. this is gonna be a long day.

"hey claire this is your new house." jack said in his baby voice. i couldnt help but stare at him. "what?" he asked. "just when you make that baby voice its so cute." i laughed, "i have to feed her before jess and luke get here." i said as i took claire out of her seat.

"hey!" jess said as she gave me a hug, "wheres claire?" "jack has her on the couch." i said as jess ran to the living room. "hey luke." i said as he kissed me on the cheek. its not unusual. hes one of my bestfriends. a lot more than that has happened between us. but that was before we were both in relationships. luke and i walked into the living room to find jess and jack on the couch with the baby. "jess can you go wash your hands? im weird about people touching the baby with out washing their hands." i smiled. she nodded and walked into the kitchen. she came back in a few minutes later. she sat down on the couch and jack handed the baby to her. "you guys can go do what ever. we can stay for a little while." jess said. "ok, we need to nap." i said as i set claires stuff down on the couch. sleep was exactly what we needed.
