It was starting to get colder out as we were heading back. We were getting closer to his house. He's holding my hand and hasn't let go. I don't really know what to think of what happened. Was it just something he felt in the moment, and he was just going to let it go. Or did he mean anything? I had questions, and questions running through my mind.

"Ugh..." I looked over at William and saw him sighing. I looked up and saw a black car outside his house.

"Is something wrong?" I asked him. I saw his face tense.

"Nothing to worry about dear." I only took his word for it. We approached the car and a man wearing a black suit, he also had his hair slicked back. His tone was so strange. His skin was almost grey from the dimmed sun. William still held onto my hand.

"Hello Willy." The man spoke to William. His face in a churn and his eyes piercing.

"Hello, Chiece." The man took a glimpse at me. He kissed my hand with a quick swoop. William's face with a mix of emotions. "Who is this fine lady?" He looked towards me.

"This is Aniia," William spoke. Chiece seemed taken aback by William's tone.

"Well, Willy. Would you mind me joining you for some coffee?" William shook his head and all three of us went inside. I followed William to the kitchen because I didn't want to be alone with that man. I didn't know who he was. William started making the coffee and getting out three mugs.

"You can head up and get you a quick shower since you were in the cold today. You don't need to get sick." He was getting saucers. I agreed and walked fast up the stairs. I hoped in the shower and hurried as much as I could. I put on the clothes he let me wear last night. I opened my door and started slowly making my way down. I could hear them both talking, so I started to get quiet.

"Why do you have a girl here?"

"I took her in a couple days ago. She didn't have a place and was living in the streets."

"She appears to be obedient." I heard cheice say. I tussled my face at his words.

"She's herself, nothing to do with obedience. That's how most of us do it, not all of us." I didn't understand what either of them were talking about at this point. "I know you trained your dame just how you wanted her."

"I had to pay good money for a fresh one to obey. They don't come like that without a price anymore."

"That's because they're huma-" William was walking around and he saw me standing there. I know I looked pretty surprised. I walked passed him and into the kitchen with Cheice. William followed suite. I poured myself a cup of coffee and was hoping to god it wasn't going to kick my heart in the ass.

"Why don't we enjoy the warm fire in your living room?" Cheice asked William. He nodded and we made our way into the living room. I sat on the couch with William, and Cheice sat on the small chair that was cornered. I held my coffee in my hands to warm them back up from the shower. You could hear small sipping in the air followed by the crackling of the fire. I peered up at both of them just looking at each other.

"If you don't mind me asking...how do you two know each other?" I had to break the silence somehow, this was mind boggling awkward. Cheice cleared his throat.

"We met plenty year ago, he was such a young happy boy." He looked at William, and his eyes spoke nothing of the memory. "I helped get his little bit of life going. I give him the drugs to sell. He doesn't get that high dollar shit himself. I go to my dealer who is the best and me and Willy here go 50/50." I nodded my head at all the information I was just given. William's face had a stone look to it.

"Yeah, we go 50/50. But we wouldn't be doing so well if we didn't up our game." William raised an eyebrow. "I started giving deal to returners, and you decided to stay the same. People get bored of the same shit. That way you never have to actually make deals." William smirked as he took a sip of his coffee. I was confused to hell and back. What were they trying to prove? Just to them, or to me as well since I'm new? I don't know, this is so confusing. They both sell drugs, they both make good money, but William has a strategy to selling; and Cheice just sells the same shit all the time. They were both sipping their coffee and not saying much. I let out a small yawn. William looked up at me.

"Are you getting tired?" He asked.

"Surprisingly yes, I thought the coffee would keep me awake." I yawned again.

"Would you like something to help you sleep?" He asked me. I nodded, and I hoped its what i thought it was. William left the room. I just stayed there waiting for him, while I got a look down from Cheice. His teeth shined, his hair looked thick and soft. His eyes were a dark green. He had a cut on his cheek from something. He made his suit look comfortable. His eyebrows raising while he drank the rest of his coffee. William came back with some of his tools. He laid it out on the table and started fixing us up. Cheice shot himself, William shot himself, and then William wanted to inject for me. I let him and it was almost noticeable with how gentle he was. I felt this kick in pretty fast. I wasn't expecting to not be able to do anything at all. This was far more stronger than what i was used to.

"Got this from the main man earlier. He said it was pretty good." I looked at William and Cheice. They seemed almost fine, maybe a little slower, but that's about it. I couldn't do this anymore. I was too far gone.
