Strange noises started getting louder and louder. It was messing with my dreams of not being a drug addict and actually enjoying my life. The sounds would not stop. I got up and the noise went away. shaking my head and thinking it was all just a daze wasn't settling with me. I got up off of my bed and looked out of the window. Nothing but street lights. I looked at it was 5:30 in the morning. I sighed. I did not want to be up looking for imaginary boogers at this time of the morning. I yawned, but I was so very thirsty. I opened my bedroom door and walked downstairs. I opened the fridge and saw water, nothing else would really help my thirst. I closed the fridge and opened the bottle to take a sip. I heard the sound of a door opening and I almost spit my water out. They weren't trying to be loud, whoever was opening the door. I put the top back on my water and placed it on the counter. I crept my way around the corner, and was met face to face with Chiece. I almost screamed, but I covered my mouth just in time. He looked at me with deeming eyes and a straight look on his face.

"You almost scared me half to death." I whispered to him. He just stared at me.

"Why are you up right now?" He asked me with a strange look on his face. I scrunched my face up startled by his words.

"I had to get a drink...?" I grabbed my bottle and tried drinking it fast so I could get out of here. He was making me uncomfortable. I moved around him and walked back up the stairs, I don't know what he was doing but he was being so weird. I looked out of my window again and saw something moving. It was probably just a animal looking for food. I went to walk away, but for some reason I looked back. I saw a...person? It was running towards the front of the house and I panicked. My eyes grew wide and I was so scared. What do I do?! Should I go get William?! I didn't even know where William was at. I opened my door and saw that no one was down stairs. I ran to Williams room to see if he was there. I called out his name and I didn't get an answer. I started to get so scared. I heard the door open, and I braced myself. I slowly walked out of Williams bedroom and saw something downstairs.

"You mother fucker!" I heard William's voice scream. I jumped down the stair and saw his body lying on the floor. I got to him and quickly sat by his side.

"What the fuck happened, William?!" I was scared. His eyes looked in pain, and he looked like he wanted to kill.

"Cheice, that mother fucker. He tricked me, I knew I couldn't trust him." William was angry, and I've never seen him angry. I tried helping him get up. I did the best I could. He limped over to the couch with my help. He sat down and he just had the worst look on his face.

"What the fuck is going on?!" I asked frantic. He didn't look at me, but I could see his face.

"I was going to deliver to a customer. He came up and grabbed me. He threw me down, I tried fighting him. But he just pushed me down and ran off." William's face was angry.

"I just saw him not too long ago." William's eyes shot up at me.

"He fucking didn't" William got up. He winced at the pain I'm sure he was in. He jolted up the stairs so fast. I had to run to catch up with him. "MOTHERFUCKER!" That's all I heard loud and clear from Williams room. I ran into his room and stopped as soon as I made it through the door frame.

"He took my shit, hes going to either use it or sell the shit. I worked hard to get where I am." He fell onto his bed and put his face in his hands. I just stared, I didn't know what to do or what to say to him. I saw his bag was gone, there was no trace of anything. "I had delivers to make, I have bills to pay. He took all of my shit. I can't buy anymore right now." I didn't know what to say at this point.

"I'll help you somehow." I didn't know at the moment how I was going to help. He didn't speak. Did I even talk loud enough for him to hear me, or was that all in my head?" I walked closer and nudged him with my hand. "I'll help you...I'll, I'll sell myself." William quickly took his head out of his hands and stared at me.

"NO." His eyes grew dark and angered. I winced back. He looked so scary.

"I want to help-"

"NO!" He got up from the bed and was looking straight into my eyes. "You are not going back to doing those things. No one should sell they're worth just to survive." He held his hand on my face and caressed my cheek with him thumb. He moved away and made his way through the door to exit the room. I didn't know what to do or say to him. I wanted to help him. I didn't want to sell myself again. It's been so wonderful not having to deal with some creepy person being all over me. I walked out of his room and down the stairs. I saw William getting something. I couldn't tell what it was, but he had quite a big bag.

"William, what are you doing?" I peeked over at him.

"We have to go on a little journey. I'm getting my stuff back. Even if it isn't all of it." I stared at him.

"A journey? Where are we going?" I asked.

"Going to get my supplies from that stupid mother fucker." William threw the bag he had over his shoulder and grabbed me by the arm. We walked out of his front door and he threw the bag in the back of his car. He opened the door for me, and gestured for me to get in. He closed the door, walked around and got in on the other side. The car roared when he turned the ignition. He backed out and sped down the drive way. I was scared. We were on our way to some place. I have no idea where we are going. I looked over at William and saw that he was focused entirely on the road ahead of us. I closed my eyes and hoped we would be okay.
