Surprising as it seems, you decided you needed some time alone. You found yourself before a small hut in a forest. You supposed Shizuka and Honda have brought you there. You still had to thank them, but at the moment your thoughts swirled and you weren't able to do anything. You blinked, recalling the events of today.

''How did you do that?" Atem asked, frowning at you. You looked at your hands, clasped on your lap. You knew the question would come. Yugi asked, Laegil will ask and Jonouchi too. Everybody saw how Atem changed into a dragon, and without doubt it was your doing.
You gulped.
"I opened the doors," you declared.
"You did what?"
"Ah...," you hesitated for a second. You rubbed your silver bracelet. "You know, from the beginning in my dreams I saw big, white doors. At first they were closed, but after some time I was able to move them. But for a long time they wouldn't budge. But back then, I saw them. And I pushed them, so they opened."
You were embarrassed. After speaking, you heard how foolish it sounded. Big, White Doors. You haven't told anybody about it simply because they just appeared in your dreams. Silly dreams. But you didn't have any other answer to his question, it was just it. Pushing the doors wide open. And a willingness to give up on everything.
"I see," he said and rubbed his chin. He looked thoughtful.
"You believe me?"
"Why wouldn't I?" he sounded confused, just as you were. "You are a honest person, there is no reason for you to lie."
Your mouth was gaping open.
"I... Thank you," you smiled at him. He raised his brow but nodded. He looked outside and frowned once more.
"It felt amazing," he said quietly. "To be strong. To breath fire, to feel this energy from the inside. It's been so long since I changed my form. I acted on my instincts'. I wonder..."he smiled. He was smiling brightly, with a little bit of excitement. But you saw nostalgia and melancholy. You knew these feelings so well. Almost too well. You shook your head. No, it wasn't time to get lost in the memories of lonely cave. "I should try again."
"Huh?"
"To change my form," he said with determination. With a slight wince, Atem threw a coat around his arms and marched out of the room. You watched, in astonishment as he left the room. How could he even move so fast being this injured! You jumped off the bed, which you regretted a second later, and ran after him.
"Waaaait! You can't!"
He ignored you and stood outside the hut. It seemed no one was around, just you two. You guessed they were resting, unlike a certain half-dragon. You couldn't blame him though. You couldn't imagine, how it felt to be a dragon again. Regaining his form was one of his major goals, which he was now so close to obtaining. You were close enough to tell him that he shouldn't try because of his wounds, but whether he would listen or not, it didn't matter. You had no right to tell him to stop. You, who had no goal at all.
