In one of London's busy streets, Alarice was reading a magazine at a stand when Susan walked over to her and grabbed a magazine.

"I see someone's into you." Susan whispered to Alarice with a smile.

Alarice puts her magazine down and looked at Susan in confusion, but noticed a boy nearby and chuckled.

"Are you sure it's me? I think it's you." she said and saw the boy walking towards them. "And, he's coming this way."

Susan groaned in annoyance and looked down at her magazine as a geeky boy from Hendon House, stood beside her.

"You two go to St. Finbars?"

Alarice glanced at Susan and saw her roll her eyes, clearly uninterested to talk. She sighed softly and looked at the boy and smiled at him as she nodded.

"That's right we are." she replied as Susan glanced at the boy before looking back to her magazine.

"I go to Hendon House across the road. I've seen you two sitting by yourselves." The boy said, trying to make conversation.

Alarice nodded again. "Yes, well---"

Susan grabbed her arm and looked at the boy. "We're fine by ourselves. We prefer to be left alone." she told him.

The boy smiled. "Me too!"

Susan rolled her eyes as Alarice looked at her and chuckled.

"What are your names?" The boy asked.

Susan faced Alarice and gave her a meaningful look before turning to look at the boy. "Phyllis."

Alarice forced out a smile. "Adalee."

"Susan! Alarice!"

The boy looked confused as Alarice and Susan turned, and saw Lucy running towards them.

"You two better come quick!" Lucy said with urgency.

Alarice saw the troubled look in her eyes and sighed. "What is it now? Is it Peter?" she asked as Lucy nodded.

Alarice and Susan glanced at each other as they grabbed their brown suitcase. The three girls ran across the street, leaving the geeky boy at the magazine stand.
