Alarice, the Pevensies and Trumpkin hid as they watched the Telmarines were building a bridge over a river.

"Perhaps this wasn't the best way after all." Susan said and looked at Peter.

Alarice nodded in agreement. "Let's go back."

Alarice, the Pevensies and Trumpkin went back to the gorge.

Peter looked at Lucy. "So, where do you think you saw Aslan?" he asked.

Lucy frowned. "I wish you'd all stop acting like grown-ups."

"I am a grown-up." Trumpkin said and glanced at her.

Alarice looked at him and smiled. "But, your height says otherwise." she teased.

Trumpkin frowned in annoyance while Edmund chuckled in amusement.

Alarice walked over to Lucy's side. "Lucy didn't think she saw him, she did see him." she told the others.

Peter, Susan, Edmund and Trumpkin turned to look at her while Lucy smiled happily.

"You believe her?" Peter asked.

Alarice smiled as she nodded. "I may not have seen him, but I know. All you have to do is believe." she told the others.

Peter and Trumpkin stared at the beautiful Queen in front of them, doubting her words.

Alarice looked down at Lucy. "Now, tell me again, where did you see him exactly?"

Lucy grabbed her hand as they walked a few steps forward. "It was right around---"

The ground collapsed under Alarice and Lucy as they screamed.

"Alarice!"

"Lucy!"

Peter, Susan, Edmund and Trumpkin quickly rushed over and saw that both Alarice and Lucy were sitting safely just a few feet down. Looking down, they saw a steep and narrow path going slantwise down into the gorge between rocks. They walked down the path and crossed the gorge.

Lucy slipped and Trumpkin grabbed her waist before she could fall. Lucy smiled gratefully at him before she continued walking.
