Ryan's POV
"They're doing AJ's musical for the spring show!" Sophie cried, rushing into the lunch room and launching herself at Chaz. He caught her, suprised, and spun her around when he realized what she had just said.
"That's amazing! Does AJ..." he was cut off by AJ herself, walking into the room with eyes glazed over in shock. Justin was confused as she sat down beside him, still shocked. Chaz grinned and patted her on the back. "Good job, AJ."
"Wait, what just happened?" Justin asked her. She looked up, shaken out of her thoughts.
"I wrote a musical: score, script, stage directions, and all. I even recorded all of the songs, and made videos of the choreography. I gave it to my English teacher as a semester project last year, and she submitted it to the principal who sent it to the director of all of our plays, and apparently she liked it so much, we are doing it in the spring." She explained to him. He grinned at her, and she seemed to melt. Justin didnt see it, though, he just hugged her and congratulated her.
"Would you mind if I auditioned?" He asked, making her eyes light up.
"Really? You would do that?" She asked, awed. He laughed at her.
"Ofcourse, AJ, why not? You wrote it, I might as well try out for it. Plus, I'll have you to help me learn the music and choreography," he replied, making her smile.
"You guys should all audition, too," she told the rest of us.
"Wild horses couldn't stop us," I told her with a smile. Skylar echoed me, saying, "You have to audition, too. For your RIGHTFUL PART." Everyone glared at her, but Justin didn't notice. He could be so dense...
"I'll see you guys later, I promised the robotics club I'd hang with them today," AJ said getting up. She left the room, and everyone's idle chatter fell away as they saw the tortured look on her face. Most of the people in the room gave Justin dirty looks. One boy strode over to him, hate laced in his eyes.
"AJ does it all for you, you know." We watched him awkwardly as he followed her out of the room.
