"Hi Jin!" I greeted as I walked to his table. "What are you doing here?"

Stupid. Of course he came here to eat. I was stating the obvious!

"Hi! I'm here to chill," he said. "What are you doing here, Areum?"

He was wearing round-framed glasses, a black jumper and black skinny jeans. He covered his forehead with his bangs so the dark mark on his forehead isn't visible.

I don't understand why he wanted to hide that beautiful flaw of his. But still, he looked so amazingly cute and handsome. I couldn't deny that one fact.

I shot a smile. "Actually, I work here."

His eyes widened. What? Was I not welcomed here?

"Really? But I've never seen you before?" he said, amused.

"Oh, you're a regular too?" I asked. He nodded in response.

I shrugged my shoulders. "Happened to be working here today." I smiled, again, showing my dimples.

He shook his head and chuckled. Why? I don't know.

I cleared my throat. "So, do you want to order anything?"

"Hot chocolate will do," he said.

"That's it?" I questioned while noting down his order on my small notebook.

He nodded and I immediately went to the cashier to hand his order to Jimin.

"You know Jin?" Jimin asked me as he wiped the plates dry.

"Yeah. Yesterday." I shrugged.

"He's a regul-"

"I know, Jimin. I know. He told me." I laughed.

Jimin laughed along and started to make Jin's hot chocolate. As I waited for Jimin to finish, I found myself glancing at Jin from time to time.

I couldn't stop myself from doing that. My eyes have a mind of their own.

"Do you like him?"

Jimin said out of nowhere while nudging my elbow, making me startled.

"Eh, what are you talking about?" I said as I rolled my eyes at him.

"I don't know, I felt like I had to ask because you kept giving glances at you know who..." he cooed, giving me a cheeky grin.

I didn't reply, instead I laughed it off and brought Jin's order to his table.

"Here you go," I smiled at him.

I don't know why I always found myself smiling at him. All the time. Maybe he was my first friend here? Maybe he was the first person to know that I actually existed? Maybe he was the first person that made me feel like I am actually a 'somebody'?

Maybe.

"Thanks," he smiled, sipping on his drink. "It's nice."

"Glad you liked it." I replied warmly.

"Can you sit here with me?" he said, out of the blue.

I was shocked. "P-pardon?"

"Can you sit here? With me? Just us?" he repeated.

I was fluttered. What was this churny feeling inside my belly?

"Ah.. I'm afraid I can't, I need to serve the others一"

"Hey Jimin!" Jin yelled at Jimin, cutting my sentences off. "Can you let me borrow your waitress for a moment?"

Borrow?

I looked at Jimin's way and Jimin gave him a thumbs up. Before I shifted my gaze back to Jin, Jimin mouthed me 'goodluck'.

What the hell?

I turned to sit across Jin and it was plain awkward. I didn't know what to do, for once.

"Do you want to order anything?" Jin asked me, breaking the silence. "The treat's on me!" he beamed.

"No thanks Jin, because apparently, I work here," I chuckled.

He nodded. "Okay." he simply said. "What do you like to drink?" he asked me suddenly.

"Me? I..."

What do I like? I don't know. I don't have my likes and dislikes. Anything will do just fine for me.

"Don't tell me you don't have any favorite drink? Everyone should have one." he stated, waiting for my response.

Really? Should everyone have one? I don't think so.

But even so, I tried to find my answer. I quickly gazed around the cafe and saw Seojun sipping on his cappuccino.

"..Um.. I like cappuccino." I said, cracking an awkward smile.

"Hey Jimin!" Jin yelled at him once again. "Get me a cup of cappuccino for my lady!"

My lady? What?

I found myself blushing. Hard.

"I said I don't want to order anything," I frowned.

He shook his head. "You need to order something. I don't want to see you fall sick just like yesterday anymore."

And I found myself blushing, again.

"And sorry for calling you my lady, you know, since I'm borrowing you right now?" he said with a cute smile. "..You don't mind, right?"

"I don't mind at all." I replied, with my cheeks still hot in pink.

"Then I'll call you my lady all the time, okay?" he wiggled his eyebrows cutely.

I didn't know what to do, what to reply. All I could do was blush, blush and blush some more.

"I'll take that as a yes." he smiled shyly.
