3 WEEKS LATER

Ever since then, I kept wondering on how this guy had gotten into my life—no scratch that; my dream. How even? Jin wasn't even close to me in the first place so.. how?

Just, how?

"Noona," I heard a voice from outside my bedroom.

"Come in, Jaehyun," I replied and he entered with a cheeky grin.

"What is it?" I asked as he too plopped onto my bed.

"Noona~~~" he puffed his cheeks at me and showed me his cringy aegyo.

"Aish, just tell me what you want, don't beat around the bush!" I laughed as I ruffled his hair.

"Okay," he shot a toothy grin. "Can you please send me to my football practice tomorrow? You can watch me play too! Seojun hyung can't send me there, he has work," he pouted.

"Jae, I don't even know if I still remember how to drive," I chortled. "I'll get both of us killed!" I joked.

He frowned. "You shouldn't say things like that, you're still recovering from the accident. You almost died, do you really want to die this time?"

Yes, Jaehyun.

I shrugged my shoulders at him and he sighed. "You used to be the best driver ever,"

"I can't help you anymore, sadly."

"Unless," he grinned playfully as he started rubbing his palms together in sinister. "You let me drive."

"Jae, you don't have a license yet." I gave him a 'really bitch?' look and he laughed at me.

"You did teach me how to drive before, so we'll make it out alive." he said. "I just need you to come with me so I won't get caught by the police if they were to stop our car,"

"Fine, it's okay to be a savage for once." I laughed. "Don't tell this to your hyung, or he'll nag at us!" I warned.

"Of course I won't tell Seojun hyung. You know how he is," he high fived me and so, our plan was set.

***

"Yah, watch out," I scolded Jaehyun for the umpteenth time. "You almost run over a cat!"

"Sorry," he replied, eyes still glued to the driveway. "Oh shit," he exclaimed.

"Jae, what did I tell you about cursing? It's not— Oh holy mother of fuck!" I cursed out loud.

There, we saw a roadblock happening in the junction. The police were stopping each of the vehicle to check god knows what.

"Noona, you need to switch places with me. You brought your license card, right?"

"Of course I did," I breathed heavily and we quickly switched our places. Me being in the driver seat, and he being in the passenger seat.

I still remembered the way Minah would drive. She always pressed this pedal.. and pulled this gear, wait, which one was it again? Was it this one? Oh well— screw it.
