A year before school starts...

As usual, mum and dad weren't home so I was spending Christmas with Sasuke this year. I was resting in his house and was going to stay there for the rest of the month, it was December 24th and it was near midnight. Of course I hadn't slept with Christmas a mere hour away!

"Sakura-chan?" Sasuke mumbled from the other side of the bed, "You should get some sleep," He yawned, I pouted and climbed on top of him, "How can you sleep when Christmas is here..." I shout-whispered. He groaned and tried to roll over.

I poked his forehead and lay on his chest, "I don't wanna sleep," I moaned, snuggling into his chest. He placed his palm on my lower back, and the other on the back of my head. "Sleep," He sighed, falling asleep. "Pfft... Fine..." I pouted, shutting my eyes.

Before I knew it, I was yawning. I heard Sasuke's quiet, snores and his heat was warming me up nicely. I got even more comfortable in his arms and allowed slumber to take control of me. "Good night Sasuke-kun, and Merry Christmas,"

When I woke up, I was still in Sasuke's arms and he was still snoring silently. As my vision cleared, I saw snow outside the window, then I remembered. "Sasuke-kun! It's Christmas!" I gasped, shaking him awake.

He grumbled and opened one eye, "So what if it's Christmas?" My eye twitched. Did he just dis Christmas?! I pinched his cheek and glared at him. "Hmph! I'm angry now!" I stated as a matter of fact, forcing myself out his arms and out the room.

I sighed as I shut the door but brightened up almost immediately, I flew down the hall and into the bathroom. Of course it was empty because it's way too early for the Uchihas to be fully awake yet! I took a nice, long shower and slipped into a short Santa dress.

I took a black handbag and a Santa hat, I looked at my watch. 08:05. I nodded, I have about 1 hour before they all wake up and notice that I'm gone. I sneaked up the stairs and peered into each any every one of their rooms, they were all fast asleep.

Good. I ran out the house and rushed down the road, I got all of the Uchihas a present except for Sasuke. I stared into the windows of each shop but nothing caught my eye. Each shop was the same, dull and full of nothing worth giving to Sasuke.

Just then, a glint caught my attention across the road. I ran and saw a beautiful sapphire beside a jade. They were put together to form a heart. I knew my eyes were glistening at the sight of them but someone bought the Jade and left the sapphire heartbroken.

"Excuse me miss, would you like to buy something?" The clerk said, hinting towards the sapphire, I nodded. He took the gem from the window and handed it to me in a beautifully made velvet box. The man handed it to me and I paid him the money.

I smiled and waved, "Thank you!" The man smiled and waved back. I checked my watch. 08:48. I sighed, 12 more minutes till Sasuke wakes up. I'll get him another gift. I searched everywhere until I saw a picture frame with a heart around it.

My legs carried me over there and I stroked the frame's golden edges, "Ah! Clerk! Can I buy this please?" I asked pointing at the frame. "Go for it! 950 yen!" I nodded and handed him the money. He gave me a brand new one in a box and smiled at him.

"Thank you sir!" His cheeks went a little pink and he nodded, I took the box from the shop and sat on a bench. I opened the box carefully and opened my purse. "Where is it.... Ah!" I gasped, taking a photo of me and Sasuke cuddling and blushing together.
