Don't choose the one who is beautiful to the world. But rather, choose the one who makes your world beautiful.

Weeks passed with Sasuke and we were happy. Despite losing my chance to become a fully fledged singer, Sasuke comforted me no matter what, he listened to all my problems and held me when things went wrong.

It was reaching the end of the school term and I planned on getting into a performing arts university or college! Sasuke said he would support me either way, he also said that he was going to go into the acting career.

Today is my 17th birthday, and almost everyone I know is gathered at my house, my parents postponed a business trip just to celebrate with me which I told them not to do since it would affect their business but they insisted.

I'd applied to many performing arts universities and I am yet to get a response from any of them. Although it's my birthday and school had finished months ago, I was scared, nervous and upset, all I could think of was what could happen if I wasn't accepted.

I felt a hand wrap around my head and my waist, pulling me into a gentle side hug. I felt his warmth and I shut my eyes to allow it to engulf me, "You're really tense, you should calm down, it's your birthday, year older pinky," He chuckled.

Punching him playfully, I pouted and glared at him, "Well you turned 17 a few weeks back! Year and a few weeks duckbutt!" He poked my forehead and glared down at me, "Yet I've grown and you haven't," He retorted.

Unfortunately, this was very true. He'd grown into a giant over the last few months reaching 6'ft whilst I was barely 5'5 ft meaning to me, he looked like a titan. I felt his lips press against my forehead and he wrapped an arm around my shoulders.

"Come on, before you get home for your party, I'm gonna keep you to myself for the day," Sasuke grabbed my hand and began to rush towards the road. "W-Wah! Sasuke-kun! Be careful!" I squealed as I was tugged along.

Before I knew it, I was swept off my feet and placed into a taxi. "Shopping district please," Sasuke stated, I smacked his arm and frowned, "Don't start randomly running towards a road, especially a busy road!" I scolded.

He rolled his eyes and smirked, "Yes mum," I puffed out my cheeks and pursed my lips, "Girlfriend, not mum," His eyes landed on my and like lightning, his arm was around my waist and our faces were inches apart.

"Future mother of my children then," He kissed the corner of my lips, making me blush. "M-Mother?!" I gasped, he released my waist and went back to staring at nothing. How can he say that so calmly?! I feel like my heart is going to burst any second now!

I couldn't remove my eyes from the side of his face, amusement clearly showing. What would our children look like? What would we even name them? I hope they turn out like me more than him, one Sasuke is enough.

Wait, why am I putting so much thought into this? I shook my head to try and erase the thought but it was imprinted into my brain. "What's wrong Pinky?" Sasuke smirked, looking at me from the corner of his eye, I blushed and immediately turned my head.

You're too young to be thinking of children Sakura! Snap out of it! It was a joke! Right? "We're here," Sasuke smiled, lifting me out the taxi and gently letting me back on my feet before paying the driver. I looked around and the buildings were so tall, I'd break my neck trying to look at the top.

"Alright! Follow me!" Sasuke said surprisingly enthusiastically. Every store we walked past had exclusive stock and nothing was cheap. The lowest price was £495 and that was for a pair of socks! I saw a blue cat and a guy with pink hair running around as well.

They didn't look normal I couldn't help but laugh when I saw them, a smaller, curvy girl appeared behind them and began yelling at them causing them to reluctantly pout and quieten. "Now let's go find it!" She smiled bright, flashing her hand into the air.

"But Luce! The shops around here are so expensive!" The pink haired boy complained. "What do you think we've been working so hard for? Come on! I'll buy you lunch after if you be a good boy, you may even get a better reward later," Luce winked.

"Aye, sir!" The pink haired boy and blue cat cheered, walking by her side. Were they mascots or something? Ah well, they seemed like fun people. "They were quite weird, weren't they?" Sasuke said through stifled laughter.

I giggled and leaned onto Sasuke's shoulder, "Yeah, they were really funny," He rested his arm across my shoulder and we continued to adventure around the expensive part of town. My heart fluttered with happiness and I sighed with a smile.

But of course, all good things have to come to an end. Sasuke's phone pinged and his facial expression went from loving and happy to dead serious. His eyebrows furrowed so deeply it would leave a mark, his eyes went so dark they were like shadows.

He gripped his phone in his hand and stared down at the text, "We're going home," He growled through gritted teeth, his phone seemed like it was losing its shape as Sasuke's grip tightened on it, "S-Sasuke-kun...?" I whispered.

His expression immediately lit up as he looked at me, "Come on, let's get you home for some family time on your birthday," He had a smile plastered on his face, it was the expression that said, 'I hate what's going to happen, I don't like it,'

Giving him a worried look, he hailed a taxi and our journey  back was filled with an uncomfortable silence. Whatever else was in that text clearly upset him, and since I don't know what it is, I'm slowly dying inside knowing he's miserable and I can't help.

As I stepped through the door, I was bombarded with many congratulations and everyone seemed generally happy-- other than Sasuke who went to go sulk in a corner. There was a joyous atmosphere but a dark corner that somewhat ruined it.

"Mum! Dad!" I beamed, jumping on them engulfing them in a hug. Since I was out with Sasuke, I hadn't seem them all day, they laughed and held me in their arms, "Hey sweet pea," My dad chuckled. They let me go and presented an envelope.

I raised a brow at it and hummed, my parents clearly urging me to open it. "Can we have all of your attention please?!" My mum bellowed, causing everything to go silent, "Thank you!" She boomed again, making me awkwardly chuckle.

Peeling open the seal and slipping my fingers inside, my heart was trembling at every movement. Curling my fingers around the letter, I slid it out of the envelope, my hand shaking. Opening it slowly, I held my breath as it read:

I'm pretty sure my heart stopped.
