SasuSaku: Our Musical Love

Thursday Part Two

If friends disappoint you over and over, that's in large part your own fault. Once someone has shown a tendency to be self-centered, you need to recognize that and take care of yourself; people aren't going to change simply because you want them to.

I was sure I heard Sakura singing, I could recognize her voice from a mile away. It sounded like a love song, probably for Sasori. "Teme! Hurry up!" Naruto yelled in my ear, I placed my hand on his face gently and pushed him away with all my might.

"Don't yell in my ear," I sighed. I heard Naruto grumbling, "Hey did you hear? There's a new Akatsuki member!" A couple of girls who passed us squealed. "Sasuke-kun! You should totally come to my place!" A girl with red hair said in a disgustingly flirtatious voice.

My eye twitched. "First of all, back up you slut, secondly, who the hell are you?" I glared at her pushing her away. "Oh honey your funny, I'm Karin, your girlfriend," She purred. Girlfriend? What the hell? "Teme! Whatever happened to bros before hoes!?" Naruto rambled.

"Dobe, do you really think I'd date a whore like this redheaded thing?" I stated coldly, "Go back to whoreland," She kissed her teeth and turned around walking away, swaying her flat bum with every step. "Ugh, her presence is just so- Ugh!" Naruto blurted out.

"Tell me about it, come on let's get to class," I ushered him to follow me. Hm. Now that I think about it, Sakura's probably the new member, I need to figure out a way to get her out of there. "Okay Sakura, do you understand?" Sasori's voice came from around the corner.

"Yup! Crystal clear!" Sakura's cheerful voice giggled. I curled my hands into fists and stormed round the corner. As my head turned, I saw Sakura pushed against the locker giggling with Sasori. I felt anger build up in me, how much I wanted to punch Sasori was unbearable.

I'm not allowed to make physical contact otherwise Sakura will probably hate me and I just can bear the thought of being hated by her. I lowered my head and walked past sneering, "Get a room," I didn't mean to say that, it slipped out.

"Sasuke...kun...?" I heard Sakura call out shocked. "Don't forget the rules, let's go," Sasori sighed. "B-But...Sasuke-kun..." Sakura sounded like she was going to cry, I won't look back, I began walking faster. "Yo Teme! Wait up will ya?" Naruto laughed.

I hummed and walked into the classroom, Naruto burst in laughing like crazy, "You know school doesn't start for like another half hour right?!" I glared at him. "Go with the gang, I'll be here, I need to think," 

Naruto shrugged and left the classroom as I sighed and dropped my head onto my table. The sound of students yelling outside was faint and if I listened closely enough, I could hear them talking about Sakura being the new Akatuki member.

I growled and pounded my fist on the table, "Dammit Sakura-chan!" I flung my head back up and saw Sakura by the door. "S-Sakura-chan!" I called out. She looked like she was panicking, her hair flicked back and she disappeared from my sight.

"Sakura-chan!" I called out, jumping over the tables and swing around the door, I caught a glimpse of her pink hair and I ran in that direction, I've always been faster than her so I should be able to catch her easily, she's always been good at hiding though so it could be tough.

I swung round the last corner and saw her running down the stairs so I jumped over the banister in front of her and grabbed her. "Why are you running?" I asked seriously. I swear there better be a good reason for this! 

She didn't speak, she just shook her arms furiously and barged me towards the wall. She began to run again but this time, I lost her. She was no longer in my view. I punched the wall and shouted , "GOD DAMMIT SAKURA-CHAN!"
