'Why her? Of all the girls in the school why the Ice Queen?' a blonde boy of small stature thought. This boy is Armin Arlert, the smart aleck that gets beat up by the jocks, ignored by the popular girls, and only has a handful of friends. 'I'm just another outcast in the game called High School.' he thought sarcastically. He was about to leave to go to Cafe Square One when he bumped into the Ice Queen herself Annie Leonhardt. It was a pretty slow day. Armin went to the counter to see Monica, the cafe manager. "Hey Armin. How you doing?" Monica asked cheerfully. "Good. Same old routine. Get ignored, talk to my friends, get punched in the face by Eren and the jocks and come here for lunch." Armin said dully. "Oh well what can I get you today?" Monica said sadly. "Can I get a Spicy Chicken Salad Sandwich with extra lettuce. Oh and uhhhhhhh........." Armin lost his train of thought as Annie and the populars and jocks walked in. Armin thought as he started a OVA episode of Attack on Titan. He was about to the part when Levi and his friends were about to run from the Survey Corps when Eren and everyone walked to the back and saw Armin. "Well looky here. We got four-eyes in our hangout. Maybe we should persuade him to leave." Eren said, cracking his knuckles. "Leave him alone. He's just here for lunch. Let him eat." Annie with an intense glare. "Alright I won't break his face now." Eren said. Annie sighed and went to get her food. She went up to the counter and grabbed her food. "Hey is Armin's food done?" she asked Monica. "Yeah here you go." Monica said. "Please be nice him." Annie sighed and said "Don't worry." She walked to Armin's table. "Here's your food." Annie said lightly. Armin pulled a one headphone out. "Thanks. What you get to eat?" Armin asked timidly. "Spicy Chicken Salad Sandwich with extra lettuce." Annie said while taking a small bite. "I got the same thing." Armin said chuckling. "So when did you start coming here?" Annie asked.
