An Unforeseen Priority

"How's it been?" Those words kept ringing in Armin's ears. He stood there, panting heavily from fighting, staring at Eren with unbridled hate and rage. "Oh, I see we're a little badass now. We've  grown a pair balls, haven't we?" Eren said chuckling a little bit. Eren motioned his hand and three of his henchmen ran forward. They lunged at Armin and Mikasa but was cut down immediately. More and more henchmen ran forward but were cut down. Soon a pile of bodies started to form in front of Mikasa and Armin. Once it got high enough, they kicked and pushed the pile onto the remaining henchmen. They ran out the barn and had five men in front of them. One had grenades strapped to his shirt. The henchman behind him ran at Armin. He threw a punch only to have his hand cut off and face sliced in half. Armin bent down and Mikasa jumped over him, shooting the grenade henchman in the head. Armin grabbed the gun from the henchman he killed and finished the rest of the henchmen. He quickly ran to the grenades and carefully removed the sash of grenades from the fallen henchman. He put on over his shirt and unfastened one of the eight grenades. "Mikasa, run!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Armin yelled. Mikasa turned and sprinted ahead of Armin. She turned back to see Armin throw the grenade in his hand into the barn along with the sash. Armin turned and took off running as fast he could. Seconds later, he felt an immense amount of heat on his back and a shock wave push him forward. Armin used this momentum to speed up and catch up to Mikasa. They ran off the Farm and to their camp. Armin slowed down near a tree. His breathing hitched and he doubled over to vomit. Armin coughed and stood up. His back was to Mikasa. "We need to go. Get Annie and Jasmine and go. We have to make a new plan." Armin said, still facing the tree. After not hearing an answer he turned to see Mikasa hugging Annie. Annie let go of Mikasa and ran to her husband. She started crying in his arms. "Why are you here?!?!?!?!? How did you get here??!?!?!?!?!?" Armin asked, looking down at her. "They kidnapped me. They beat me and tortured me. They treated me like a monster." Annie said in between sobs. "Where's Jasmine?!?!?!" Armin asked as his eyes widened. Annie sobbed even harder. "WHERE IS MY DAUGHTER???????!!!!!?!?!?!??!!!!!!!??" Armin exclaimed. "They killed her. Right in front of me." Annie said and sobbed in his arms.
