Confession (Annie's POV)

'Did he just say that? Did he just say that he loves me?' Annie thought blushing. "I'm sorry. I just embarrassed you. I feel like an ass." Armin said tears welling up in his eyes. He stormed out the cafeteria tears starting fall down his face. Annie stood there stunned. She realized what Armin just said and looked the way he ran. She ran that way and out into the hall. "Hey you saw where Armin ran?" Annie asked Franz, an intense look of worry on her face. "Oh he ran that way." Franz said with a smile. "Thank you." Annie said and ran in that direction. She ran this way and that, her worry for Armin growing by the second. Annie turned the corner and saw Armin. "Armin wait. Please. Wait." Annie called. Armin heard his name and ran. Since Annie was quicker him, she caught up to Armin and tackled him. "Armin stop running from me." Annie said her grip tightening on Armin. Armin squirmed and fought till he escaped her grasp. Armin stood up. "WHY DID I EVEN TRY TO OPEN UP TO YOU?!?!?!" Armin screamed. "I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN YOU WOULD NEVER LOVE! I'VE TRIED SO SO HARD TO KEEP THESE FEELINGS INSIDE BUT I CAN'T!" Armin exploded. He cried and cried because he felt hopeless. Annie stood up and grabbed Armin by the collar. Armin stopped crying immediate and widen his eyes in fear. Annie leaned in and kissed him. This was no ordinary kiss. This kiss was filled passion. It was filled with deep longing. Armin was stunned. He slowly closed his and blended into the kiss. Annie finally pulled back and stared at Armin. "I love you too. You make me happy and safe. I love the way you think, your wit and--" Annie was cut off with another kiss. "Don't get sappy on me Ice Queen." Armin said with laugh. "If I'm your Ice Queen, then you're my King of Cowards." Annie said hugging Armin. They went to lunch holding hands. Everyone turned to see them walk in. They cheered and clapped and showered them in flowers. "Hey we're not getting married. Yet." Armin said holding Annie close. "Why wait?" Annie asked leaning to kiss Armin. "C'mon at least make out at your house." Connie said jokingly. The new couple sat down with their friends and enjoyed each other's company while they snuck in a few kisses.
