Destined to Die

Chapter 3: Pack Doctor

The rest of the day was amazing. I felt like everyone was moving to make a way for me. Apperently what I did was amazing, I've had four people come up to me and tell me that. I was liking the new buzz feeling I was getting.

Every ass that's ever been mean to me has come up, and said sorry. Honestly this was far from what I expected my last day to be. I thought everyone was going to ignore me.

I was quite wrong. Everybodies was liking the 'new' Meredith. About ten guys have come up to me today. This was definitly not a normal day. This was amazing.

Just to make this day better, apparently Jesse left he’s car behind for me. He heard about the whole stand up thing, and he was 'Really Proud' he's word's not mine. He texted me in the middle of Algebra.

This was he’s first act of kindness of the month. And that says a lot because it was the 27th. Jesse wasn’t a very nice person.

“Mere, wait up…” My heart dropped when I heard he's amazing voice. My body stopped in fear just thinking oh him saying my name.

“Yeah….” I turned to see him. The guy I begged my brain to dream about, there stood Henry. He was tall, lean, and had this cutish boy thing going on. It was totally working, I wanted him.

So did half the school.

“Mere, just wait a second. I just ran across the campus to get to you.” I stared at him with confusion. Henry didn't usaul talk to me at school. I see him a diner I work at. We're good friends outside of school.

We never talk during school, while we never talked in school until now.

“And why would you do that? You know you could have just called me? Actually there was this very useful creation called a cellphone. ”

“What fun would that be?” Oh god, I loved he’s devilish smirks. I could hear my heart go crazy.

“So why did you want me?"

“Wow someone is cranky...anyway I wanted to talk to ya..." He's voice turned into nervous muttering, hard to follow. Aw...he was nervous.

I have had dreams of telling him all my feelings ever since I heard I was leaving. Every free moment I have, I dream of ways I could tell him how I feel. And in every scenario we would live happily ever after, and run into the sun set. “So, can I count you’ll be there?”

“I’ll be there.”

“Great….don‘t be late. I’ll be waiting up for you.” He flashed one more devilish before he disappeared into thin air.

What the hell just happened? And what did I just agree to?

Shit, where the hell were we going. Did he just ask me to bring him something? Shit, I knew this day dreaming would be the end of me.

I looked for my only hope, and prayed that she would be there. My heart fell into a stage of relief when I found my little red head coming start for me.

“Can you believe he just did that?!” My Best friend grabbed my shoudlers, giving them a gentle shake.

“Ouch, Samerra I’m right next to you. You don’t have to screak it for the whole school to hear.”

“How can’t I shout? Can you just believe that just happened? Tonight is going to be awesome!” Okay, what in the world did he ask?

“Okay, Sammy listen to me. I kinda dozed off when he was talking to me. Please tell me what he asked.”
