Guy's POV
-

Will told me that Chris is doing a lot better, but I didn't know this for sure since the tour was over by now and we haven't spoken much. The cause is that I was just visiting my family.

I was heading back there though, because I'm supposed to record some bass music today. I have no idea what the song is right now, so I have no clue what to expect.

When I reach the studio, there's a girl in my way. "Excuse me, I need in. I'm apart of Coldpl—" she cuts me off.

"Okay, blah blah, Guy. I know. I'm just one of the new sound engineers and I had to keep watch if like, any fans came or something. Chris told me to watch for you, since you were the last one to show up. Oh, and I'm a huge fan of your band! I'm really excited to meet you guys and work with you. This is my first job and I'm still not over the fact I get to work with my favorite band," she explained. I smiled as she complimented us.

"Your name is..?"

"Danielle. Call me Dani though, because I don't really like how long it takes to spell it." She answers me, with a slight laugh behind her words. She opened the door and I walked in to see Chris in the booth. He was at the microphone singing a song that was melodic.

I walk next to Jonny, "What song is this?"

"A b-side for the new album, we're thinking. Called Animals."

Danielle's POV
-

Chris has been singing through this track for ten minutes now, and he still can't get 'the right sound' for it. But honestly, I thought it would be great if he just used the first take.

As I'm back there mixing with the sound effects, it felt like every break he seemed to have after the measures, he stared back at me. His blue eyes pierced my mind and I just had to get to know him so much more. He makes me curious; I'd love to just watch the stars with him and talk about the universe. He's so beautiful as a human and as soon as I saw they were in need for a sound engineer, I was on top of that. I made it my goal to make my dream to come true. I absolutely love Coldplay, and the frontman. It makes me feel so—rebellious. I know he's 26, and I'm 18. But I can't stop myself from wanting..Chris.

I was so caught in my thoughts because I was daydreaming about him, that I didn't realize he was already done with the track. Will elbowed me on the shoulder, and I snapped out of it, "Uh, wake up from MartinLand, it's time for me to record the drum part now." He said, smirking.

"I wasn't in 'MartinLand', I was just making sure the vocals were perfected." I reply back to my defense. I felt my cheeks burn with the color of the red chair I was sat in.

Chris walked out of the booth and took a seat on the bench. He wasn't even acknowledging me, I thought. So it's okay; he doesn't know I was dosing off about him.

I start engineering the drum instrumental, along with three other individuals. I was the most inexperienced one there, but I think I didn't suck at all for a first timer.

After the track was halfway done, we stopped for the day. I started gathering my things and getting up to leave in a hurry until I collided with..Chris.

My things cause his backpack to fall. At this time, we're the only ones still in here, so it's not easy at all to just run away.

His bag was unzipped, and papers went flying everywhere. Mine did as well.

"I'm so sorry; it was an accident," I exclaimed with a blushing red face.

"It's okay. Just help me get our stuff."

I bent down and got his stuff off my books, and he got my pile by my side.

"Who are you? Are you new?"

"Yeah I—just got a job here. I graduated my college course four months earlier than I was originally scheduled to. I heard you guys needed a fresh face and, well, I'm here," I said to him. I tried to not freak out so he didn't think I'm psychotic.

"Oh, you're the new one. I'm happy you chose Coldplay as your first start. You look lovely, by the way."

His words cause my heart to beat a level that could be life risking. He winked and turned away, walking out the door.

Chris Martin, my most favourite person in the whole world, said I looked lovely. Holy shit.
