A Sunless World

I see the sun in her eyes,

And the ocean in her soul,

And the moon in her voice,

And the stars in her heart.

The good in her rises,

And overflows,

And I catch it when it falls off the edges.

She has brought me enough brightness,

That I myself am overflowing,

With a kind of joy,

That I believe,

Only love can provide me.

I can not imagine,

A world without her.

A world without color,

A world without oceans,

And stars and suns and moons.

A world without light,

Is just one to lose,

But this world is worth it,

Because her light is in it.
