Gena's P.O.V.

I watched Käti's face look from me to Julian suspiciously, as what I had just told her registered.

"Time Travel." She said slowly. "Right...How is that even possible?"

I frowned. "There is no logical explanation for it...it's a gene...a mutation....something. All I know, is that it's been around for centuries, it's just not widely known about, so society rules it as fiction. We prefer not to exploit ourselves."

Käti pursed her lips. "Alright...seeing as I'm in Greece...and there seems to be no other explation...I'll believe you. But...you two are time-travelers too?" She asked, still looking a litle doubtful. I understood it would take time.

"Yes, we are." I confirmed. Julian smiled boyishly at her, which made me wonder how long he could keep his mouth shut. I knew they'd be feeling a connection, just like her and Eric were. But I also knew that we couldn't bombard her with too much information yet.

"Is it something that runs in the family?" she asked thoughtfully. I knew what she was getting at. She wanted to know if her father was one. But I couldn't tell her that either. Because I didn't know. There was no records anywhere of Nikolay Pytor since he disapeered.

"Sometimes....but not usually. Most time-traveler's have no history of being related to another time traveler." I responded.

Käti let out a deep sigh and folded her hands together. "So...I'm here for a reason then? As are you?"

Julian nodded. "We are here for a reason...that's the thing about time travel. When we travel to wherever it may be, there's always something we end up doing before going back. And sometimes...it makes it in the history books." He grinned mischeviously as I swatted him.

Käti looked intruiged. "Like what?"

I shook my head, sighing. "Sometimes you get to be a part of things that make the history books...like wars or turnings of a new era." Julian patted my shoulder eagerly. I groaned.  "Sometimes...some of us.." I rolled my eyes towards Julian. "Incorporate ourselves into more prominent, more noticable parts of history."

Julian chuckled next to me. "Like being the one to steal the Mona Lisa in 1911." He said proudly. Käti laughed, her eyes wide.

I shook my head. "He did that before he met me. If he tried it now, I'd turn him in myself."

Julian scoffed. "Right...because someone is going to arrest me for stealing a painting in 1911...that they got back."

I turned to Käti. "Don't ever do anything like that. It's dangerous, even if it may seem fun...someone could connect the dots."

I watched as Julian shook his head silently at Käti then poked me in the ribs. "Loosen up Gena." He said teasingly.

"I'm loose!" I said defensivly. Käti and Julian both looked at me expectantly then burst out laughing. I frowned. "Not what I meant."
