"Currently Agent James Reynolds, 21 years old and has been with us 4 years; and Agent Katarjna Ryder, 19 years old and has been with us 3 years also. They’ve worked together since stage one, and we plan to keep them together, they’re a good team. They’ve recently finished up some business in Berlin and are on their way back to the states.

Ryder is expected to meet her grandfather this week and Reynolds is going with her to keep the cover-up steady and make sure she has an easy and uneventful replacement back into the Chicago society. We will be using them as needed, but due to the lack of relations in Reynolds previous life and the minimal relations in Ryder’s life. cover-ups are easy to put in place and they are easy agents to put into the field. No one ever suspects anything. We will activate them in a month or two...but for now Ryder is on leave to keep up her cover life in Chicago."

Harold paused and looked around the room. "Any questions?"

"Yeah...what's her cover story?" A musclar, tanned man asked. He was wearing a suit like the rest, but his tie was loose and his shirt was ruffled.

"Ah, Agent Leeway. Nice to see you again. Ryder's cover is that she's been traveling...for fun. And she works at the Chicago Library for the cover's sake. We've set up a flat for her about two blocks from the Library."

"Where will Agent Evans be staying?" Leeway asked.

"Agent Evans has a flat about 4 blocks away from Ryder...however I presume they will be spending more time at one...We've noticed that they have a connection." Harold smiled slightly as the meeting ended and everyone filed out except Leeway.

Agent Leeway frowned. "Aren't relationships encouraged against Harold?"

Harold nodded. "Yes they are...when they are with civilians...we don't really care too much when it comes to agents with agents....it seems to motivate them more actually. You should know this Agent Leeway....I've heard you had a relationship with an agent before."

Leeway frowned. "She wasn't an agent then...She was a recruit. I was an agent. I was told it was against the rules."

Harold frowned as he stacked the folders. "Well....the recruits aren't supposed to have relationships...because they need to focus on thier training. But I'm sure if she's an agent now....you could always try again?"

Leeway nodded slightly. "I suppose...I could." He turned to walk out.

"Agent Leeway..." Harold called after him. "Out of curiosity...who was the recruit?"

Leeway turned to look at Harold. "My next mission is in Chicago...there's a foriegn diplomat meeting at the Arts Centre...." He smiled wryly with a strange look in his eyes. "The recruit was Katarjna Ryder."

Käti's P.O.V

"Well. Here we are...apartment 37." I said to James as I unlocked the doors to my new flat. I hadn't seen it yet....Blackbriar had set it up and I was desperatley hoping it didn't look anything like the rooms in Blackbriar's underground facility or anything like the hotel rooms I had been in for the apst 3 years. I was looking forward to just having a place to call mine finally.

I opened the door and gasped. It was HUGE! And Beautiful! It was decorated with a modern edge...spacey but vintage. Exactly my style. I threw my bags on the floor next to a dark red couch and slipped my heels off  putting my bare feet on the cold hardwood floor. I made a mental note to shop for some cool rugs.

"A little help here!" James muffled voice called from behind me. It was natural habit for my body to tense whenever someone sounded muffled. But as I turned I started to laugh. James had his arms full with my suitcases and bags...I couldn't see his face but I knew he'd be pissed. I grabbed a few things off his load and threw them on the couch.
