"Poop! I'm exhausted!" I flop onto the couch just beside Marius, leaning against him as if he were a pillow.
It's been a week since my first love appearance on television, and my schedule has been packed with radio, TV, and magazine interviews since. I hardly get any time to even go to the bathroom, it seems. Being a part of celebrity drama sure is fun.
I just got back to Sexy Zone's main apartment, and I feel like anything but myself. I haven't had much time to rest the past few days, so I've been unhealthily running on coffee to get all of my work done. This is the first time I've even seen Marius in four days. He keeps texting me to be sure that I'm okay, and warning me to get rest, but I don't usually see his texts under all the other notifications until much later.
"Eri-chan! How are you?" Marius asks me cheerily, stroking my hair gently.
"Exhausted."
"You've been working so hard! I've watched and read all of your interviews. It's not common to see someone respond with as smart of answers as you do."
"That's true, Erika-chan. You're a very quick thinker," Sou adds.
"Thanks, you guys." I slide my phone out of my pocket to check the time. 10:31 p.m. already... I can't even see my lock screen's wallpaper under all of my nonstop notifications.
After my very first interview, Kento, as my "main manager", had instructed me to make an Instagram, official Facebook page, and Twitter. He told me that these are my public accounts where I can post whatever, whenever I want, so long as none of the Sexy Zone members are in it. Apparently it'll bring me closer to the public.
And it sure has. I posted something each time I was scheduled for a new appearance in an interview somewhere, and I'd be blasted with notifications each time. I already have 15k followers on Instagram after just this week, and 18k on Twitter. I haven't really checked the comments yet, since the notifications have been moving so quickly that I can't even read them.
I never really understood why people kept telling me that I'd be a celebrity soon, but now I think I'm starting to get why.
"There's no way I'm gonna go through all of those."
Kento leans over the couch to look at my phone screen. The notifications keep popping up. I really need to figure out how to get rid of all of them. "Well well well, look at Miss Popular over here," Kento teases.
I scrunch up my nose in distaste and snuggle up closer to Marius. I can feel him tense in surprise, but relax a few moments later. I let myself hug his arm and bury my face into his shoulder. "You guys are so lucky you're not allowed to have social media.."
Kento chuckles and ruffles my hair before walking away. From the corner of my eye I can see Marius pointing at me and mouthing something to Kento with a confused and uneasy expression. It looks something like "what do I do now?" I only hug his arm tighter. He's just too cute!
"Sorry Eri-chan, I can't have you cutting off all of my blood circulation today! I'll lose all my fans if my arm is gone," he says, slowly sliding out of my grip. But he takes my hand before I can protest, standing up. "But you must be tired. Let's go to my room and rest."
"Okay.." As the two of us begin to head out of the main room, I hear cat calls and whistling from the other four boys--especially Fuma and Sou. I turn around and stick my tongue at them just before closing the door. A moment later I hear a big burst of laughter.
