"Wakey wakey! Oh, gosh, I feel like the mother of a celebrity already!" My mom shakes my shoulder to wake me up.
"Mom, I'm not a celebrity.." I bury my face into my pillow sleepily. I love you, Mom, but please go away and let me sleep.
"But you're the soulmate of one! And you'll be on TV in..." she checks the clock on the far wall, "4 hours! You have to get ready and go to the station, so get up!" She practically pushes me out of bed.
"Fine, fine.. I'll call Kento to pick me up."
...
Feeling too lazy to get ready, I end up going over to Sexy Zone's apartments in my pajamas and without makeup. Everything I'll need for the day is in my (heavy) duffel bag, which I forced a grumpy Kento to carry for me. I'm really not a morning person.
I plop onto the big couch in the center of the room, just beside Fuma. I'm almost tempted to fall asleep again, but the freakish boy decides to throw a pillow at me instead.
"Wow, you look awful," Fuma snickers.
"Shut up. I'm not a morning person."
"I've never seen anyone look worse than Marius in the mornings."
As if on cue, the tall boy lumbers in the room, his eyes droopy and hair tousled like a big bush. In his mouth is a half-used toothbrush. He catches my eye and slumps over, wordlessly, to sit next to me. Together we stare at the empty space in front of us, like a couple of zombies.
"Eeesh, you two are creeping me out." Fuma scurries off to the kitchen, where the other members are gathered for breakfast.
"Oy, zombies! Time for breakfast!" Sou calls out.
I scratch my head and yawn before hauling myself off of the comfy couch. Marius looks at me and sleepily blinks a couple times, but eventually follows me over to the table, taking the seat beside me. Shori slides out two hot cakes (Japanese pancakes) and puts them on separate plates for Marius and I. Sou and Fuma start teasing each other, and Sou throws a tangerine slice at Fuma's head, earning a silent scold from Shori. I'm starting to get the feeling that Shori's like the mom of the group sometimes.
The hot cake was very good. It woke Marius and I up from our (un)dead states. Who knew that a car nerd like Shori could cook breakfast.
After the meal, Marius took me to his room, where we left all of our goodies from yesterday's date. It turns out that, as he claimed, Marius has a great taste in clothes. We got myself a few cute dresses, and Marius a hoodie that I picked out. But my favorite thing that Marius bought was a couple's pair of necklaces for the both of us. They're both shaped like puzzle pieces, and spell out "soulmates" when put together. We decided to wear them together for the first time tonight, during my TV interview, as good luck.
"Which one should I wear to the interview? Oh, gosh, they're all just so cute I can't pick!" I hold up each of the dresses momentarily, one by one, against my body to "model" them out for Marius.
"I think you should wear the lace one. You can't go wrong anywhere with lace."
"Okay! I'll get changed right away." I pick up the dress. It was the most expensive one--I remember--and the prettiest one. I guess Marius wants me to get as prettied up as possible for a good first impression. It's a white lace bell-sleeved dress that comes up to my mid-thighs; very summer-y. I slip on a pair of white wedges with it and step out of the bathroom, twirling a couple times to show off to Marius.
