"Wow Fuma, you did so great at the interview today! I'm sure you'll get a million more fans after they read your responses in the magazine!" I exclaim. From the corner of my eye I glance back at Sou and Marius, who haven't budged.
"Maybe you should try being a little more romantic," Fuma whispers in my ear. My jaw drops, offended, and I glare at him.
"Fine, then you start!" I hiss back.
"Wow, Erika-chan, you looked really cute in your dress during the photoshoot today," Fuma says, a bit louder than his usual tone to catch Marius' attention. His hand reaches up to twirl a strand of my hair between his fingers. "Your hair is a beautiful color. It matched your outfit well."
Marius and Sou have gotten quiet. Good, we have their attention now!
I giggle with the girliest giggle I can muster up. I hear Kento snort from the driver's seat and mutter something under his breath. He totally knows what we're up to.
"I'm so glad you liked it, Fuma-kun! I just wish I could take a photoshoot with you too!" I grab his hands in both of mine and grin widely.
From the corner of my eye, again, I look towards Marius. He's looking at my hands, which are still holding Fuma's.
"Maybe we can go and buy the Seventeen issue together when it comes out," Fuma suggests.
"Yeah! And then we can--"
"We're home, sweetypies," Kento calls out to us, mocking my tone to Fuma. Fuma exits from his door and holds it open for me, giving me a hand and a smile as I carefully step out.
Marius comes bursting from the van after me with the biggest smile I've seen on him in a while. "Eri-chan, let's go hang out in my room!" He grabs my hand abruptly and squeezes it. Yes! It's working!
"But Marius, we need to eat lunch first. It's my turn to make lunch for everyone."
Marius' smile falls. "Oh..." he mumbles.
It almost breaks my heart to see him so down suddenly. "B-but, we can always go to your room after lunch! You can be my taste tester while I cook!"
That seems to cheer him up, and his hand tightens around mine as he skips towards the lobby. I turn my head to catch Fuma's gaze, and we exchange a wink. Fuma and I are so good at this!
...
"Marius, I need you for taste testing again!"
I settled with making a sort of tomato-shrimp pasta that my mom taught me of a long time ago. So far it seems like it's going well, except for the fact that Marius got distracted ten minutes in with a video game that Sou and Kento were playing.
"Marius!"
As if on cue, Fuma jogs over. "Can I try some?" he asks.
Ahhhh, I see. "Of course!"
I dip a spoon in the sauce and blow the steam off of it, then feed it to Fuma.
"Wow, you're better than Shori with pasta sauce, seriously," he says. "Can I have another taste?"
"Of course you can!" I feed him another spoonful. It's actually pretty fun to hang out with Fuma a bit more often.
"Is the pasta ready?" he asks.
"It should be just about done."
"Here, let me help you with setting up the table."
"Thank you, Fuma-kun!"
As Fuma starts setting down the silverware, I pour some pasta into each of the six bowls. Then Marius comes skipping over.
"Eri-chaaan, when can I taste test for you?" he asks, hugging me from behind.
"Marius, I called you over a while ago, but you never came over, so I let Fuma help me out."
Marius doesn't say anything for a couple seconds, but looks over to Fuma. Then he starts tugging my arm like a little kid.
"Eri-chan, can't I taste test for you now?"
"Lunch is ready, Marius, it's a little bit late now." I pour some sauce into a bowl of pasta, add several shrimps in, and hand it to him. "You get the first bowl, though, so tell me how it tastes all together."
Marius immediately digs up a forkful of pasta and shoves it into his mouth. "Mmmmmm!" he exclaims. "You're suth a greath cook!" he says with his mouthful of lunch.
Everyone else gathers at the main table in front of the TV, Marius practically sitting on me on one side and Fuma a small distance from me on the other.
Once lunch is over, Marius grabs my hand again and drags me to the door. "Let's go to my room, Eri-chan!"
But Kento suddenly stands up. "Wait, I need to ask Erika something first," he says. What does he need to ask me?
"Oh, okay, come over when you're done, Eri-chan! I'll leave the door open," Marius says, humming some Sexy Zone song as he jogs out to the hallway.
Kento gestures for me to follow him, and he leads me to the kitchen.
"What is it that you need to ask me?" I furrow my eyebrows in confusion.
"Nothing," he says.
"What?"
"I know what you're doing with Fuma," he states. "You're both trying to get back at Marius and Sou for not paying enough attention to the two of you."
"Y-yeah...?"
"Don't you think that you're being a little mean to Marius?" he asks.
I gasp and take a step back. "W-what?! No! I would never do that!"
Kento purses his lips. "Well, just be careful. You're playing with fire, Erika. Marius is sensitive--you know that--and Fuma isn't the most trustworthy person to deal with."
I cross my arms. "Kento-kun, I know what I'm doing, and Fuma isn't stupid, you know."
"I know that, I'm just warning you to be careful with what you're doing."
"I'm going to Marius' room. He's waiting for me," I mumble, scurrying towards the door.

This is a short chapter, I know, but I'll be doubling up on chapters for today!
I hope you guys aren't getting the impression that Fuma's a bad character here. I love him to death, and I don't have intentions of making him the bad guy.
Also, for all the "Vintage" fans, I'm planning on writing the next chapter once I have time again. I may or may not be planning something exciting ;)
Stay tuned for the next chapter, which will be up in a few hours! <3
