Anna squeezed her eyes shut as she felt herself being pressed into a set of lockers. She felt someone holding onto her arms and held them in place.
Slowly, she peeked one of her eyes open and saw it was the boy from earlier. Caiden Laine.
Her breath got caught in her throat as he stared down at her. His gaze was unwavering and for minutes neither of them talked.
The silence was almost unbearable so Anna decided to try and break the ice.
"H...he...hello."
Caden just smirked and continued to stare at her.
Anna was beginning to feel uncomfortable with his stare and started to try and wriggle out if his grip.
"Stop."
His deep voice made Anna freeze in place and shake with fear. There was so much authority and diction that she couldn't help but obey.
"What... what are you doing?" Anna whispered.
"I like you." He said out if the blue.
"You're different... I don't want any other boy touching you, got it? If I see anyone besides your brothers as much as graze your skin, I'll beat them." He said seriously before walking off down the hallway, leaving me breathless.
