*Eliza's POV*

Days go by and everyday is filled with a new pain. Everyday I see people who I thought were my friends with different weapons of torture. After a whole week of this, and no food and limited water, it's easy to slip in and out of consciousness.

"E-eliza?" A soft voice asked.

My eyes opened slowly and I saw a man in front of me. It was Ben.

"Eliza... It's me..." He said with a concerned look on his face.

My vision filled with red as I tried kicking him. I immediatly stopped though. My body was so sore... There were untreated cuts and burns all over me. Instead, I glared at him.

"You fucking liar..." I muttered.

"E-eliza, what are you-"

"I TRUSTED YOU! YOU KILLED THEM! YOU ALL DID!"

"Eliza, I didn't kill anyone you knew!- AGGH!"

He screamed, falling to the ground in pain. I had no idea what wad going on.

"P-please-AUGGHH!! JUST TRUST ME WHEN I SAY HE LIED-AUUUGHHH!" He screamed in pain, and I went into a small panic. In a flash, a tall figure appeared and took him away.

~~

My stomach growled, waking me up from my shallow sleep. I shook my head a bit and felt sick when my stomach growled again. Static filled my ears and I let out a scream of pain. The Devil himself stood in front of me.

"It is time, mortal..." He said darkly.

I was unlocked and lifted up by a dark tentacle. He still had me by my hands so my feet were about half a foot off the floor.

"It'd be a shame to waste a good soul to hunger of all things. I'd give you a final meal but that would defeat the purpose of course. Your time has come."

I was trapped. There was no way to go, no way out. The best thing I could do was run, but I wouldn't't have gotten far. Three days without water took a toll on a person and that toll was life.

I was already blacking out as he walked me outside. The cold winter air woke me up, though. I looked around and I could see faint blurs of the people I once knew. I couldn't focus on any of them, but I managed to keep my head facing towards the green blur that I knew was looking at me too.

It took him a few seconds to register, but he finally understood what was going on.

"No... N-NO LET HER GO, ERASE HER MEMORY, DO ANYTHING JUST DON'T FUCKING END IT LIKE THIS!!" he shouted. He began running, but a blue blur grabbed him and held him back.

"Ben no! I-it's already done..." His sentence faded.

I felt ropes wrap around my wrists and I was lifted higher. A tree , I'm guessing. The colorful blurs created a semi-circle around me, the blue one still holding the green one back.

If I was going out this soon, I wouldn't be going out with regrets.

"B-Ben..." I felt his name escape my lips. He managed to get free from the blue blur and I could see him get slightly clearer as he approached me, but only slightly.
"Eliza! I-I'm so sorry, this is all my fault, I-if I hadn't of-" I cut him off.

"Ben... I-it wasn't your fault... I see that now... I-I'm sorry... I'm sorry..." I trailed off.

My stomach stopped growling. I didn't hear anything now. It was quiet.

Birds were calling to each other. They got closer and closer. A pain was felt in my chest but it was dull. Another one in my arm and another one in my leg. Another in my eye, and I winced. There was a scream, but it wasn't mine. It's wasn't mine...

Suddenly there was no pain at all. Nothing was wrong. Nothing was bad.

"Your time's not up yet..." I heard someone whisper.

Everything was so dazed. It was faded and I could only see white.

"Get her out of here." I heard faintly.

I saw a bright light in the distance. It was warm and welcoming. It was getting closer.

I felt a sharp pain against my cheek.

"STAY WITH ME DAMMIT!" Someone shouted. Soon everything turned from white to black and I was unconscious again.

~~
"She's waking up... S-SHE'S WAKING UP!" Someone shouted.

I groaned and tried opening my eyes, but only one would. Everything was blurry at first but it slowly got into focus. I was in a moving vehicle. It was spacy and had things hanging everywhere.

Ambulance, I thought.

"Ben... Where's Ben?" I mumbled. A gentle arm slowly pushed me back down.

"H-he's back there with the others... They won't be bothering you anymore..."

Toby sat over me, concern showing clearly in his eyes. His goggles and face plate were removed and frankly, he looked exaughsted.

"T-Toby?" I mumbled, still trying to use words normally. At least he was ok...

The car swerved and Toby frowned.

"Hey! Watch it up there!!" He shouted.

"Dude I don't have any depth perception!!!" Someone shouted back.

"Oh... One eye... I forgot..." He mumbled.

"Toby..." I said surprisingly clearly. He looked back at me, concern returning. "Where's B-Ben?..." I mumbled again.

"I-It's ok... He won't be hurting you anymore. He won't be hurting anyone anymore..." He mumbled.

"W-what did you do??" I tried sitting up, but I grew light headed. He pushed me back down gently and shook his head.

"I-I cut off one of his arms and wounded a leg. It's what you would've wanted and it's what he deserves..."

Tears formed in my eyes. Ben was never the bad guy. I was so stupid...

The ambulance came to a stop. Two doors opened and closed and soon the back doors opened wide. Two figures stood, waiting to help Toby get me out.

The girl smiled. She looked normal besides the stitched smile and clock for an eye. The guy beside her didn't make much of an expression. He had a heart mask over his face. The girl waved.

"I'm Natalie! But you can call me Clockwork."

The guy beside her nodded.

"I'm Louie, but you can call me Lou."

Toby smiled.

"They're friends, Eliza! They helped me!" He exclaimed, smiling at them.

"T-Toby..." I mumbled. He looked back at me just as I blacked out.
