In this photo you can see a young girl and boy playing with sparklers, however, the young boy was not there at the time it was taken. For the family who took the photo, it did not prove to be much of a mystery - the extra figure is that of their nine year old son, who died during a tornado earlier that same year.
Do We Survive After Death?
This photo, taken on July 4th, 2013, shows a young girl playing with sparklers, getting into celebrations. At the time nothing was thought out of the ordinary, but on review there seems to be an extra figure.
The family believe this extra figure to be their son, who was killed when a tornado destroyed his primary school in May, 2013. Nine year old Nicolas McCabe loved Independence Day, and the family believed their son was still getting into the spirit of things, even though he is no longer of our physical world.
There are those who believe the photo to be what the McCabe's believe it to be - the image of their sons 'ghost', letting them know he is happy and still around.
Others believe the photo is a blurring, a 'ghosting' of the image of the young girl (the McCabe's niece, and Nicolas' cousin) due to the long exposure time, and the nature of mobile phone camera's. Many argue against this, as the second figures features are much different, the skin tone is also significantly darker.
What do you think?
Did Nicolas McCabe appear in this photo during July 4 celebrations?
Could another child have made it into the shot without the taker knowing?
Is the photo a result of a slow 'shutter' and the resulting blurring?
Or maybe something else is at play here?
