Chapter 5
wakeing up
Lilly P.O.V
I woke up to a tingly feeling. That when I noticed someone next to me in bed and I jumped out of bed startled. I must have startled Trent to because he jumps up looking around looking for the attacker. I couldn’t help it I burst out laughing at the look on his face. He gave me a look like he was going to get me. I squeaked and ran out my bedroom door. If he was going to get me it wouldn’t be so easy. I ran down the stairs and to the kitchen and hide behind my dad. He stiffened looking for what I was running from. When Trent came in my dad started laughing and stepped aside as so as Trent saw me he came up and started tickling me. I couldn’t stop laughing. When he finally stopped we set down to eat.
“Well you are up early” said my mother while laughing at us.
“Lilly decided to wake me up by scaring me half to death”
“I didn’t mean to I just woke up with you beside me and I was startled” I said defensively.
“Oh sorry” Trent said looking guilty
“You know you look guilty a lot? I mean really this is the second time in two days” I told him.
“Yah I know” he said sheepishly. “Do you want to go for a run? I could show u the boundaries.”
“Please” my wolf begged.
“Sure I could use a run” I looked at my parents and the both nodded. Trent and I went outside to the forest. We went behind tree and undressed and shifted. Went I came out Trent was waiting for me. I padded up to him nipped at him then spirited away as fast as I could. We played tag until he stopped me.
“We are at the border now” he said
“Is that why it smells like pee” I said as I scrunched up my nose.
“Yes that’s how we mark are boundary lines” he said with a Wolfe grin
“That so gross” hung out my tongue
When walked around for a long time I got to see how beautiful the woods really were there were birds in the trees chipmunk and squirrels running around the forest floor. We were out there for about an hour where I smelled something so gross. I smelled like wet dog, dirt, and pee. Trent started growling and his fur started to stand up.
“Rouges get behind me.” a lot of wolves started to come out of the trees in front of us. Almost as soon as they came out of the tress we were surrounded. Trent step over me to try to keep me safe. I lay down so I wouldn’t hinder him if he had to move.
“Dad please come Trent and I are surrounded by a lot of rouges”
“We are already on the way” as soon as he said that the rouges started attacking. Trent was ripped off of me so I had to start trying to defend myself. I was doing ok, I only had a couple of bits, until three rouges attacked me a once. I was pinned in two minutes. I was trying to get up when a hand came in front of me and put a cloth over my nose everything started to get blurry. I could still make out Trent fighting then I felt a sharp pain in my back and everything when black.
