Startled
Trent P.O.V
Lilly woke me up by jumping out of bed like someone was after her. I quickly jumped out of bed after her barley making to my feet and looked around. My eyes landed on her and she was almost doubled over laughing at me. The sound of her laughing was music to my ears but if she wanted to start that game I would give her something to laugh about. She must have seen the look on my face because she squeaked and ran out of the bedroom with me hot on her trail. She ran into the kitchen and hide behind her dad and as soon as he saw me he moved out of the way so I could get to my mate. He started laughing as I tickled her and I finally stopped after a good five minutes of her laughing. When we finally set down Lydia said “well you are up early” while laughing at her daughter and me.
“Lilly decided to wake me up by scaring me half to death.” I told her.
“I didn’t mean too. I just woke up with you beside me and I was startled.” Lilly said defiantly. Opps so that is why she jumped out of bed.
“Oh sorry” I said looking as guilty as I could.
“You know you look guilty a lot? I mean really that is the second time in two days.” she said. Lydia and Tyler look like they were going to burst out laughing at any moment.
“Yah I know “I said sheepishly.” do you want to go for a run? I could show you the boundaries. I asked trying to change the subject before her parent started laughing again.
“Sure I could use as run” my beautiful mate told me and look at her parent for permission They both nodded and we went outside and they started laughing before I got out of hearing range. I shook my head and went behind a tree a changed. I was waiting on her when she came out.
“Our mate is so beautiful” my wolf said. I had to agree with him she defiantly was. She came up to me slowly and then nipped and ran off. We played tag for a while just enjoying ourselves.
“We are at the border now.” I stopped her before she could go over it.
“Is that why it smells like pee” she asked with her nose scrunched up.
“Yes that how we mark our boundaries line” I told her.
“That so gross” she said with her tongue hanging out. I watched my mate as she looked around at the scenery and I enjoyed myself. That when I smell it. It was rogues. Let out a low growl.
“Rogues get behind me” I told her. “Eric Dylan and Tyler get here immediately me and Lilly are surrounded by rogues and bring our fighters.”I heard them growl though link.
“Yes alpha” they said in unison.
I quickly stepped over my mate protectively and she lay down with a low whine. The fight started soon I was covered with wolfs they ripped me away from my mate and out of the corner of my eye I saw them hold her down and inject her with something.
“Nooooooooooo. Lilly.” I yelled
“Where almost there just hold on.” Eric told me.
Soon we were surrounded by pack members and they jumped into the fight and soon almost every rogue was killed except two and they where surround by the pack. I looked around for Lilly but I didn’t see her anywhere and her blood was all over the place. My wolf let out a howl for his mate. I changed back to my human form.
“SHIFT!!!” I yelled at the wolves with as much power as was possible and they had no choice but to and my wolves did to because of how I said it.
