Chapter 18
Saveing lilly
Trent’s p.o.v
By the time I reach her she was laying limp on the ground. I shift back to my human form and grab Lilly by the arms and start trying to wake her up. “Lilly wake up” I yell at her as my wolf howls. As she continues to lay there unmoving I feel like my heart is ripping in half. “JACK” I yell and in a flash he was over there checking my mate. He says something but I don’t hear it because I feel so torn because here my lovely wonderful mate is lying In front of me unmoving. I feel some one slap my and when I look up jack has his hand risen looking a little afraid but he was in doctor mode. My wolf wanted to rip him into pieces for touching me.
“Trent you need to get her to the clinic now or move out of the way so someone else can take her. She still alive but if you keep growling at everybody that comes near her she will be dead. As soon as the word left his mouth I picked up my mate and ran to the clinic.
As soon as I got there the door was already opened and jack was setting up equipment. I laid her down and a nurse starts shaves her stomach. “What the hell are you doing?” I yell at the nurse. “Damn it Trent if you can’t let us work then gets the hell out.” Yell a very pissed of jack. “We have to do a C-section in order to save them.” As he came closer I noticed he had a blade in his hand and my wolf lost it. I was pended down by Dylan and Eric but I could still see jack cutting into my mate stomach. My world wanted to kill him for hurting my precious Lilly but I could do nothing except growl at him. Soon he pulled out a baby and then pulled out another one. He handed the babies that were covered in her blood off to the nurses and went back to stitching up my mate. She lost a lot of blood because of him cutting her open and with every passing minute I wanted to kill him more. After he was done I was release and I ran over to my mate. Jack had her hooked up onto fluids, a heart monitor and giving her a blood to replace what she lost. As soon as I saw she was breathing my wolf calmed down but he howled out when he saw her so pale.. Jack came back over and gave her a shot of clear liquid “what did you give her” I growled out through clinched teeth and I could feel my wolf taking over again he was the reason she was so pale.
“Calm down I just gave her some pain killer. Would you want her in pain?” he asked me. I shook my head. I pulled up and set in a chair while laying my head on the bed my mate was in.
Throughout the next week she didn’t wake up and I would growl at anyone that neared her without my permissions. A couple time she started to flat line. The weird thing is every time she flat lines the baby started to decline too. The first time it happened I crumpled on the ground feeling like I was dying too. My wolf could feel her life presents leave her so he wanted to fallow her.
On the 8th day I heard the baby’s cry and that was the first time they did that since they were born. After jack checked them and told me they were going to be fine I relaxed and when back to watch Lilly. Later that day Lilly shifted and went back to her wolf form. I yelled at jack when I happened and after he checked her he said “they are going to be fine. She shifted back because her wolf felt healed. Go get some rest she should be waking up any time within the next day or two.”
“No I’m going to be here when she wakes up.” I told him and he throw his hands up in frustration.
“Well there an empty bed next to you if you should come to your senses” he said as he walked out the door.
