Lilly’s P.O.V
When I started to wake up I heard voices.
“Why is she not awake yet? It should not be taking this long for her to wake up it been two days already.” said the voice that sounded like Trent.
“Just give her time they had given her something to repress her wolf and she just now got that out of her system so it going to take time for her wolf to heal her.” Said the voice that sounded like the doctor. I heard a growl “Relax Trent she going to be ok.” I groaned because they were being loud
“Can you all shush you make my head hurt” I said as I opened my eyes. I was in my room and Trent was standing with the doctor by the door, but as soon as I said something he came over and held my hand.
“Baby I was getting worried because you hadn’t woke up yet. How are u feeling?” Trent asked.
“ like a car ran me over” I mumbled as I put my hand on my head
“can you give her something doc. ?” he asked
Yah but let’s see if some regular Tylenol works first” he said as he gave me two white pills. I took the it with no questions asked. After I took the pilled the doctor left the room. I laid back down trying to let the pills take effect. Trent started humming a melody that I’ve never heard before but it was so pretty I didn’t want to interrupt him. I just laid there and listened to him hum for thirty minutes’. finally got the courage to ask him what he was humming
“What are you humming?”
“It’s a song my mother made up for me when I was little and couldn’t sleep. She died when I was really young so I never learned the words.” He said
“I’m sorry, it really pretty” I stated. He looked lost in his own world for a little while with a pained look on his face.
“I’m sorry I let you get taken by the rouge. I should have protected you I will never forgive myself for what they did to you.” He said. I shudder at the thought of what happened.
“It’s not your fault there where to many to fight off. I do not blame you one bit.” I told him while looking him in the eye.
“but if I could have held them off for ten more minutes the pack would have been there and that rouge would not have mated with you and for that he will die.” Trent said and his eyes went black.”
I stated to panic “he’s not dead?” Trent picked me up and hugged me.
“No kitten he not dead yet. He had time to escape but we will find him and he will suffer for what he did to you.”
“Ok’’ I said while still scared. “Trent looks and listens to me. It was not your fault. The only this I regret is that my first time wasn’t with you. It’s my fault I could not fight him off because of whatever stupid med’s that had given me. I do not regret going for a run with you. Yes I wish the thing with the rouges never happened but we can’t change the past. All that matter is that you came for me and got me away from that horrid place and I love you for that.” His eyes looked sad until I said that last part and then they looked so happy that the word happy could describe it.
“I love you to Lilly and I always will” he said. After that he gave me a kiss it started out soft and quickly turn passionate. By the time we were done, we were both breathing heavy with our foreheads together.
“We should probably tell your parent you’re ok.”
“Yah” I said reluctantly and started to get up bit I got dizzy and almost fell but Trent caught me in time before I hit the ground.
