Chapter 12
attacked
Lilly P.O.V
I was in the woods in my wolf form. I looked to my left and Trent was with me. I felt so peaceful. We made it to the woods and I looked up to the sky. The moon was full. I could feel the moon giving me strength. Then all the sudden clouds covered the moon and I heard something start attacking. It was a brown wolf and it attacked Trent. I tried to move but I couldn’t. The brown wolf grabbed ahold of Trent throat and ripped it out. Trent fell to the ground dead. I let out a howl and the brown wolf turned in to Damien. He came over to me.
“I told you, you are my mate and now that he’s dead there is no one to take you away from me.” He said with and evil smirk. I wanted to rip out his throat out but I could move. All I could do was stare and whimper at Trent body, laying on the ground with blood seeping into the ground. I started to cry. He grabs me and pulls me on to him and starts grounding himself on me. He pushed me on the ground……….
“Lilly wake up” someone was shaking me. My eyes popped open and I started to attack the person that was next to me. I was standing over top of him when I noticed it was Trent and when I saw his face I broke down crying. He picked me up and took me back to the bed and held me cooed some comforting words and rubbed circles on my back while I was crying. I started listening to his heart beat and calmed down.
“all better now kitten?” he whispered
“yah” I sniffled
“what happened” he asked
“I had a bad dream” I couldn’t tell him what I dreamed because he would feel bad and I didn’t want that to happen. I hated it when he was upset. I looked over at the clock it was only seven AM. Hold on didn’t I tell them to tell me when jess woke up.
“Is jess ok?”
“Yah she woke up around four but the doctor gave her something to help her to sleep.”
“Why didn’t you wake me up I wanted to talk to her.”
“Kitten you were sleeping and I didn’t want anyone to wake you up because you need your sleep you are still recovering from everything.” He told me looking worried,
“Well now that I’m awake I want to go see her.” I told him with a frown.
“Ok go take a shower and I’ll get ready and we go see her.” I got up and got some clothes out of the bag they were in from the store. I picked out a cute outfit and went and took a shower. I scrubbed myself feeling nasty from the dream and when I was done I dried off, got dressed and put my hair up in a messy bun. When I got out of the bathroom Trent was lying on the bed fully dressed in fresh clothes with his hand behind his head. He got up when he heard the bathroom door close.
“Ready” he asked while coming over to me.
“Yah” I said quietly. I was still shaken from the dream and all I really wanted to was to hide under my covers. We walked down the hall and out the door to the house besides up. It was I two story house with blue paint that made it look cute. We walked in and down the hall in to a room that looks like a hospital. I saw jess lying on a bed still asleep. I walked over to her. She looks so peaceful. I just sit in a chair next to her waiting for her to wake up. The doctor came in a few minutes later. While we were waiting on jess to wake up he did an ultra sound and I got to see my little butterbean for the first time and I was right he/she looked like a bean. After I was done jack gave me the pictures.
I went back to sit next to jess and I saw she was awake and looking scared at Trent. I got upset and glared at him.
“You shouldn’t make her scared. Leave so I can talk to her I will meet you back at the house.” I told him.
